I started mine because, at the time, there were less than 5 known traders on Rimor heh.

well, i would also sort of be none of the above but #4 is sorta close i just figured traders were the underdogs, sorta flimsy, but still able to punish people and do support, at least in the beginning it was that notion.

#4 about half of it, i remember the profession description saying something about 'draining opponents skills til they're withered shells' or something ominous like that.

my first toon was a agent, and i got teamed with a trader about lvl 40, he had a mud which looked huge next to my x-3 and the coolest looking hat (salesman's) which i found out was a trader hat. i was sold :P

(i still wear the salesmans hat in social now like 3 years later)

I started my first incarnation of Ryuahn back in '03, because looking at the profession, I was sold on the draining skills idea. Nowhere before AI came out did I dream that one day I'd be using Martial Arts at endgame... or that there -would- be an endgame for Ryu, but now I'm 217, using Martial Arts, and loving it

The first Ryuahn started as a Solitus, which is odd, as all my other Ryuahns have been Opifex. I still remember he was using an Electrical Pacifier back then (and it wasn't actually all that bad), and to honor that, I want to ding 220 using an E-Pacifier. It'd mean a ton to me hehe

I rolled mine, because 1 year ago there were no high level traders around.

And mezz, heals, wrangle, portable shop, grid combo seemed lucrative.
