It just dawned on me, we know when in sneak our conceal breaks, so, is it breaking because conceal is broken, or is it because of low breaking and entering skill?
I have not touched B&E in a LONG time, as it is only 80, I'm lvl 60.

Excellent point! I don't know if this is the case, although a buddy reported that he had been able to lock pick a door under a MOB's nose..and not get aggro'd.
Next time I level, will jack it up a bit and see what happens.

Nope, this has nothing to do with anything.
My Breaking & Entering is over 200, and I still instantly go out of sneak mode when picking a lock.
this has to be fixed at a point
