Thread: Trader Guide & tips - revised

no pistols.. you will regret it!

Imagine you are level 150.. what pistol will you use? level 200 electronicums? okay...

Ql 200 electronicum vs a level 150 Shadowlands monster...:

    The Original Electronicum v3
Your critical hit will be 1211 points.
Your normal hits will vary between 4 and 4 points.Over 10 seconds you would do about 239 points of damage.
You would score 4.39 normal, and 0.18 critical hits.
The damage done by normal attacks would be 239 points and 0 points would be special attacks.
Believe me, there are alot of more viable shotguns for your level.

    Same for the Krutt....

Krutt Assault 219 Waltzing Queen Special
Your critical hit will be 4102 points.
Your normal hits will vary between 102 and 102 points.
Over 10 seconds you would do about 1341 points of damage.
You would score 4.48 normal, and 0.19 critical hits.
The damage done by normal attacks would be 1222 points and 119 points would be special attacks.

Now lets have a look on a simple ql 50 Mudurlugu

    Mudurlugu
Your critical hit will be 959 points.
Your normal hits will vary between 396 and 396 points.
Over 10 seconds you would do about 1953 points of damage.
You would score 4.48 normal, and 0.19 critical hits.
The damage done by normal attacks would be 1953 points and 0 points would be special attacks.

    See what i mean?

Check out the trader guides, there are like 20 ppl before you who asked the same question.

This forum also has a search function.

Thanks for a great guide! I've just started playing up a trader and I have learned alot about roles and general playstyle by this. Great work
I'm a runaway train on a broken track,
I'm a ticker on a bomb that you can't turn back this time,
that's right, I got away with it all and I'm still alive

I think so....but overall nice guide.
    Gee...another expansion that I'm not interested in...maybe it's a hint? O.o

For back piece armor the Veil of the Revoked is really nice one for trader and it's not that hard to get. Can put on around level 80-90 quite easily, twinkers can probably wear it earlier. Parts for it drop in Crypt of Home: Robe of the Revoked (mob loot) and Spirit tech circlet of Cerubin (boss loot).

    Angry Charms borked

Unfortunatly the charm and break trick has been "fixed", the mob is now freed when you get shaken out of the root, thanks a lot FC.

One of your links (I think Tier 1 Trader male link) comes up with a black background with a red dude, and says "404" over him and (Edited By Sabynne: Not Appropriate Language) under him.

    Was this intended?

Tradeskilling engineer can hide behind their bot. Tradeskilling trader should not leave the trader shop.

Turn the building with the shop into a makeshift house. You're gonna be there a while, why not habitate it?

Oh, and for those that have just reached 25+ and are Omni, in Rome Green to the left of the Jobe Whompah (almost impossible to miss) you'll see a door. Go in it, and one of the terminals on the right side houses "OT Specialist Commerce". 'tis the Trader Shop.

Great guide. I'm thinking of starting a Trader in a little while, once I level up my MP a bit (a lot).

Actually, this is probably one of the best guides for any profession I've ever seen. Props.
