Bump... every Froob or new person needs to see this.
If you have something I should add or change, you can post here (or send a PM in the forums or ingame (if you are not on DNW ofc, since I have no toons there)) of what you like for me to add or modify in the guide.
Thanks,
Great guide, very helpful.
What you might include is some mention about those beggars (blonde bearded heavy solitus guys with a mesh white t-shirt and jean shorts usually standing next to where newbies poop out from n00b island) that want you to bring back a vagabond cloak in exchange for a free lockpick and like 100 xp I think. It's not much, but in exchange for 1 credit "donation" to the beggar, it's a decent deal.
I just reactivated my old account...
Older characters:
Coy "Nieshka" Bobieshka, Solitus Engineer. Omni.
Seeker "Finniksa" Sorentzah, Opifex Martial Artist. Omni.
Pious "Adnuntiatrix" Mohenjodaro, Opifex Fixer. Clan. Rubi-Ka Shadow Force. *dead org*
Necole "Nikse" Cordiero, Solitus Soldier. Clan.
---My friends make me alt.
Will add that. Thank you.
Anyone know the spawn times for any of these? Like Emun, vergil, and Abby? SPAWN TIMES MUST HAVE SPAWN TIMES... sorry, but seriously... anyone know?
I heard once that it was 45-90 minutes, but I've never had a chance or desire to confirm this.
But I think I did find a bug in the Subway. I logged in the deep sub right near where Vergil spawns twice, but ended up back in one of the halls coming off of that big lobby in the beginning the first time. The second time I logged on and found myself inside a pack of cyborgs who were very unhappy to see a level 25 in the dungeon and so quickly dispatched of me before I could summon any pets and farm Abby and Vergil for rings.
I think it's 20 minutes. Adding info concerning it.Originally Posted by ZephyrusD

I haven't checked to see if these have been reported before but since they're not mentioned in the guide I just ran a little survey...
Mugger spotted at level 5
Looter spotted at level 5
Shadow spotted at level 9
Workman Striker spotted at level 14
Architect Striker spotted at level 16
Neutral Burnout spotted at level 18, female MA, neutral, aggro.
Tempus fugit.
Everybody has a photographic memory.
Some don't have film.

Thank you jokzer for some level info.
Also added a couple missing attributes and some more info on Abmouth Supremus. However, I am taking down the descriptions for Slum Runner and Infector for modification.
<edit>: I might have a separate section for Subway-related quests soon. Stay tuned!
No need to activate the quest to get vagabond cloaks, you can pick up as many as you like and take them back to the guy, then cycle through getting the quest and handing them in over and over... Tedious work and you don't need multiple lockpicks (I wish I'd known that when I was a noob >.<) but you get iirc 500 credits each time, which can be a decent income for a low-level newbie.

Quests
Two quests involve the subway. Here's the lowdown on both.
Ergo's Rubi-ka Representations
Shadowlands required for this quest
In the subway you might run across the following items for Ergo's RK Representations: Small Power Supply, Copper Wire, A Burnt Out Memory Chip, and Circuit Board. He is situated in these three coords.
OT: 1200 x 2800 Greater Omni Forest
Clan: 550 x 550 Wailing Wastes
Neutral: 1500 x 2700 Stret West Bank
He does have an NPC wandering around, a Yutto called Auxiliary One Third. Best to skip this NPC, unless if your memory runs dry. He will give you a PDA. If you hand over the items mentioned above (or, if you got it, mentioned from the PDA), you can get an Insipid ring depending on profession. The ring lowdown:
Artillery - Agent, Fixer, Soldier
Control - Engineer, Trader
Extermination - Bureaucrat, Nano-Technician
Infantry - Enforcer, Keeper, Martial Artist, Shade
Support - Adventurer, Doctor, Meta-Physicist
Even better, you can use the ring on an appropriate portal to get into Elysium. Not bad, right?
The beggars
When arriving from the ICC shuttleport (see Fixerspy's guide here about the ICC Shuttleport if you happen to be curious as to what it is.) to mainland, you will see an old, heavyset Solitus near where you appear. They are:
OT: Spencer Moss
Clan: (couldn't recall, i know his first name is Graham)
Neutral: Peter Roland
If you give the beggar some credits, whatever amount you give him, could be even 1 (I gave him a thousand), he tells a lame joke then gives you a mission to hand him a Vagabond cloak.
(However the mission info appears to be bugged. Why? Because no matter your person, Graham will always be mentioned and not Peter or Spencer.)
When you get the cloak and give the cloak to your person you will get 339 credits and a flimsy lockpick. Not bad, really.

It should be noted that you only have to give the beggars 1 credit to get their joke.

Added subway-related terminology to the guide. If there is any more to add, let me know.
Finally got fitting descriptions for the Infector and Slum Runner. Also revamped the terminology a bit.
Added the fact that Vergil Aeneid has an HoT running on him. (info from an offline /tell I got today)
Also will clarify the beggar quest.
Added grats/gz and ding to the terminology, and reworked the terminology a bit.
Since I have a Neutral toon, I'll see about Graham in West Athens tomorrow or when I get a chance, so I can get his last name.
Don't mind if the guide gets stuck up there or whatever, though.
Bump
*crosses fingers for sticky/updates (or both :P)*
Edit: smacked some extra posts by myself out, and reworked here and there
