You wanna fix the skill window? Easy ..

- Revert to old version.

- Put body dev and nano pool into body cat. as intended.

- Throw out AC's alltogether if you want.

- Insert some hint (line at the bottom?) to let newbies know shift-clicking gives extra info.

- Make the info pages for each skill more informative.

- Add a Max-skill button (maximize skill as far as IP and level cap allows with one click) and toss the whole idea of auto distribution in the nearest garbage can.

- If you wanna make the skill window future-proof, adjust the CODE, not the GFX.

Just thought I'd also mention that just because not many people are posting here that they LIKE the new GUI, doesn't mean no one does.

I said this in another thread actually. NO ONE, that's who. I did see a nice post in Rimor forum after FC paid a month's rent for the cities they keep deleting, but other than that? Not so much.

On a day-to-day basis I am very happy with AO (as long as I stay off OA Hill), but I don't come here and post about it. Maybe I should. LOL

I do like the functions of the new IP GUI, I just wish they would have mixed those functions in to the old IP GUI or made one more sci-fi looking, instead of Ford Pinto looking.

The mouse wheel zoom thing needs an option to turn it off. It's hateful.

i have rarely heard anything expressed with such wit and concision. i despise the mouse wheel change, and i hadn't yet posted about it because i couldn't think of how best to express my impotent rage. but schwad knows all.

You can now max a skill by using Shift or Ctrl when you click the plus sign to increase that skill.

Parry and Riposte are set to Priority 0 (No IP) for all professions.

You have to press a button for it to spend your IP, so just don't press it and you're fine.
Though if you DO press it, I still think you're fine <3

I'm serious, I didn't have time to check -- I got the impression that when you leveled it just automatically ... populated, for lack of a better word, the bars of the skills that you "should" improve, and you had to either lower them one by one or close the window without saving and reopen to do your own work.

Does it just have a button that says Do you want us to do this thing? Cuz that's perfect. (And they should make one for the mouse-wheel zoom.)

There's a button that says something like "Automatically Distrubute IP". Don't press it
