So far we have had

1) a compelte crash yesterday caused by "network issues". (i go to bed)
2) downtime caused by "issues" (i am awake again)

Sometimes it is better to have ppl wait 15 minutes longer but letting them know what the situation is - perhaps customers will be more patient and understanding that one would expect

That said i would like to say thank you to all the hard working people in norway and elsewhere who worked overtime to get everything fixed and running as swiftly as they could.

I do understand that.
Its just so frustrating when people tend to give bether ETAs than they can deliver.
The server guys should think like this: "If everything goes smothly, we should have it up in 40 mins. But, nothing runs smothly, lets add another 30 mins for that. And, what if we runn into truble? letsadd another 30 min for that, hell, lets just say it wil be upp in 2 hours."

See, there I killed another 5 mins. just 20 mins to go :-)
