Anyone else trying this setup out?

I will lose the steady aimed shot, but gain some alpha power I think, so dunno.
Was looking at the new AS pistol as well, but that would be weaker specials.
I used to be pistols before LE anyways, and kinda liked it.

You're alpha power is going to blow cause you won't have enough skill to land good specials for an alpha.

It's probably more effective to swap from Silverback for fling, AS to some really fast or really high crit shotgun for reg hits.

Problem with that is that Silverback carries a 6 second swap time.

Unless you know for sure you can knock down your opponent's defense enough for reliable bursts, I'm going to have to go with Obtena here.

Would have to drain up some first ofc, but combined with new pistol perks its gonna be ok. It's not all about the burst. MR helps as well.

What new pistol perks? Traders have no access to any Pistol Mastery perks now, or in 18.1, or in the forseeable future. The only ones getting PM perks are those who had them in the first place; they're only getting better specials and access to the full line.

In fact you may be better off using a Hawk Mk 5 as a mainhand to the Onehander if you're that adamant over a specials alpha.
