Thread: Update on Transfer from DNW to RK1 and RK2.

    Problem is, most of the dnw/rk3 peoplo want to stick together, so one person decides to move to rk1, his friends follow.. and the friends of that friends too ah think enough to see the point.
    most people i asked last week said rk1, so of course i said ok rk1, my org followed me, so everyone of them went to rk1 and not rk2.
    I don´t know what Means or someone else expected us to do, but the community didn´t split up into 2 groups, at the moment there is a vote in german forums, "which server did you move to", there were 37 people participating so far, 35 rk1 1 rk2 1 both...
    As you see the community wants to stick together as good as they can (except some strange people ), so in my opinion that is the reason why most of us went to 1 server... i hope funcom will push it´s work on the gfx engine and both server will see a significant population increasement.

    In your Ignorance you seem to think that a final merger would be a transfer like this time. Which is less than unlikely. Think about it.

    But its clear why (for now) so many went to RK1 - they were looking for easy pvp prey and they definitely got it from what I've heard. Poor RK1 natives...

    Talking space availability 0-8 with char move

    Do I need to have an available space slot 0-8 in order for the char move to be successful? or will the slot numbers be extended to hold the moved characters.

    You will of course need a free space... as it's already been explained.

    It's probably just that the RK3rs went there, and all RK1ers went to look. At the same time. So they all stayed happily logged on for the entire day. Meanwhile, RK2ers didn't necessarily all log in to look at the non-invasion of the RK3ers.

    A recent development? I have no idea, it's what forum criers say. I find RK1 to be well populated across all leveling ranges, except the one where you really need it, but that's not because of numbers that's because of people not wanting to level and rather wait for that 1 inferno mission.

    Would there be any chance that the city upkeep gets suspended on DNW now that the server is mostly cleared out? We still have several people left who haven't transferred yet, but our city is going poof in two days and nobody is left who could pay the 100m upkeep. How should our folks empty their shops then?
    (besides, is there any chance to get at your shop if you forgot to empty it before the transfer? will creating a new char with the same name and org help?)

    What would work, would be a GM hosted org with a city... Peeps returning with transfer in their mind could get invited, then open a shop, empty it pre-transfer. Just my 2 cents

    When someone kills one of us newly transferred ex-RK3 toons in pvp does it count towards solo/team score as usual or to number of invaders killed?

    Could it be that the much-announced /name tool for exiled DNWians is a little bit borked?
    The bot tells me that I should log out for 5 minutes for the name chance to be completed... I've been waiting for almost two weeks and I've still got the oldname-1...

    //edit: nvm.. just the launcher doesn't update on the name change.. after logging in, I had the right name on my char. now how do I get rid of the oldname-1 in the launcher?

    How many new cities are being constructed and why raffle? There surely must be enough to cover the non-farm RK3 orgs. A raffle won't seem fair if multiple ppl from 1 org win plots. All it will do is create a flood of wts posts the week following raffle.
