I dunno how many people in Anarchy Online care about this guy, but he was one of the first singers to introduce me to the heavy metal genre. Sure, Ozzy was a pretty cool guy to listen to, but Dio was the one that sold Black Sabbath for me, and planted in me an interest in such a wide-sweeping genre.
He was pronounced dead today from stomach cancer. I dunno what else to say; this guy meant a lot to me, as probably my favorite vocalist of all time.
R.I.P. Dio.
