When I made my mp we could stand toe to toe with engi's and had a chance to win, having long fights with Enfo's chasing each other around tir..

Hell when eqb nerfs came in enf's where just used as a toy

man I miss them days, now I am just a snack for most.

well...at least we get access to the full pistol mastery perkline!

Anyway we still have +320 bow in perks and researches and only +300 pistol.

And as pistols AS is to small compared to bow, and with our crap AR other pistol specials have very low chance to land, there is no reason to use pistols in PVP at all.

OK, I'm still waiting for that "ability to instill fear (LOL), bombardment with energy (more like tickling at the moment), enemy frozen in time, target stripped of nano based abilities etc" that FC promised in the manual.

Heh, instead we have a lovely aimed shot and blockers =)

Yes, it is Funcom's problem.

When I'm paying for this game, I'm paying to have as much fun as with ranged advie. Now, I do agree that there can be a difference when you play profession that is not newb friendly and one that is, and my inability to cope with that would make your statement valid.

This here is not such case. MP profession is not only anti-newb (which doesn't bother me that much - I'm a pr0 ), it's also severely broken in every possible way and that's not my fault.

just remember funcom did not moved your hand when u was at character selection screen
and if you pesonally dont like MP as they are - it doesnt means that MP fails. its totally your opinion and funcom cannot make everyone's opinions and wishes to go truth

im more than sure that there's quiet a lot of mp's out there who is very happy with their character. and i do know mp's who pwn very badly in PVP and come top DD on raids as well

(sometimes it even making me smile as i see shield mps that thought they will be PVP imba with thoose shields to fail cuz they have hands in their *ss, as they see BOW mp's that pwning everyone so badly that even i getting surprised)

i dno i duelled 4 different mps with my sold last week 3 of them lost and 1 won. why? simple because he wasn't lazy to recast pets. that should give u idea of what i mean

Man, if u read my first post, u'll see that I compare MPs with other _pet_ profs.
And they have MUCH higher AR than MPs.
And they have much more other useful working tools than MP.
And they still have pets

Just imagine - whom will u prefer to have in a team when one spot left - MP, Crat or Engi..
Hm, even if team have 2 spots left, u will not take MP no matter u go PVP or PVM.

Pets are going to be reworked also.
Current pets can be fired for anything else promptly =)

But if in future we have pets, so opposite team scream "Omg MP pets!" as they cry now "Omg they got engi", I can say we don't need any more AR
