Composite Nanos

This is barely a Fourth Wall topic, but it's a question from an RP perspective more than Game Mechanics, so.....

The composite nanoprogram crystals (Attribute, Combat, Medical, etc) are presumably a refinement in nanobot programming affecting those aspects of physiology; thus less NCU space is required to accomplish the same effects. I would guess that these improvements are the work of Omni-R&D.

Did the clans steal the technology, or is there some sort of trade agreement that I'm not aware of? In other words, why did every toon of every faction get access to these comps?

My guess is that Jobe came up with these and Jobe being neutral it won't differentiate between OT and the clans.

Considering that Gardens have Redeemed / Unredeemed selling nanos (not only the composites, but also others that you just can't find anywhere else), I'll stick with the Jobe approach - it makes more sense to me.

Pretty much all cool new nano technology comes from Jobe. So I suppose this one is no exception.

The Shadowlands connection to composites implies the work of Jobe scientists in the development. Nicely leading to everyone being able to access it.
