    Kills stats should be kept?

    Should the kill statistics (solo, team, duel) be reset when the rebalance hits the streets?

    Why do we need titles, and these statistics? Who cares how many players you killed? It only shows how much time you spent in BS.

    I agree with this.

    A different title system all together would be preferred imho. Something with meaning, like the old title system, but a little better.

    The old one at least rewarded not dying. The new one is a PvP grind, to go with our 3 different XP grinds, our armor/gear grind, etc.

    Wouldn't a simple Win/Loss ratio suffice?

    This way we could maintain the existing data for Duels / Solo / Team stuff and just have the ratio displayed (as well so we didn't have to manually calculate it <--- for the math tards out there )

    I'm not a good PVP'er (sure I'm a wannabe), and to me I gauge my would-be success on my duel wins vs losses as this demonstrates to me (maybe) my capability in a 1-on-1 encounter. Would be nice to see BS deaths as well so I can get a feeling for how well I'm performing there as well.

    Stats suck. I dont know any game besides counter-strike where stats dont suck. Its a god damn _game_.
    And to whoever made that grind style stats in ao: die. and do it slowly.
    Without good stats you're a nobody among the remaining population cause thats the epeen or gtfo generation.

    To be quite honest, I think that what you're referring to (kind of hard to tell, given your sentence structure - what exactly are your arguing in your post? That stats, in any form, suck, or just the way they are currently?) is part of the uniqueness of AO, where competition is at the heart of the game, whether it be PvP or PvM. Stats serve to bolster the "reward" of putting in a good amount of effort. Whether or not you believe the way stats are currently handled is particularly valid, or if any of the historical ways it was handled was, they still provide the same element of satisfaction (if they don't for you, then I guess that's a personality trait).

    That said, I think a system where deaths result in a trackable and meaningful penalty is the best system. The extent of this today is "Kills: _____, Deaths: _____", which, to me, is worse than the points system of the past where you could actually lose your title. Can't lose anything now... so why the hell does it matter?

    Sorry, I meant keeping something comparable to the current system, but also showing a K/D Ratio so that Solo/Team kills aren't completely meaningless as they are now. Not just showing a K/D ratio as you're right, that wouldn't really show anything.

    I think it should reset every month.

    And have the title levels be awarded MUCH sooner.

    Like, if you hit 1k kills in a month you're the champ.

    But, if you want to keep that title, you gotta do it again next month.
