Fix lag when cam turning !!!

impossible to play with that lag any longer ><

Grid, mitaar , APF staircase exit, bidges rooms in mishes and surely more that i can t remember.
It s simply impossible to play at mitaar, which is a place where we need to move and position our toon fast enough to handle this boss.

Ninja patch this, don t wait future update please

I just wanted to post the same... everything is slower since 18.4.
As Butsut3kkai already sayd, Mitaar is almost imposible to play!!

It feel like the whole game is a bit slower then it use to be.

I just did a quick test with grid.
On the ground I can run around and look everywhere smoth with 65-90 FPS
On first floor when turning camera around, it variertes from 70-14 FPS
Same thing on Mitaar.. everythign is smoth with spirits and stuff.. but then you turn quick to run to another pad, the FPS drops down to 8 FPS or so.
I do play Mittar alot with some freinds and we almost never miss a color.. since 18.4 we miss alot, mainly because of the lags.

You should be alright in mitaar if you never use the mouse to rotate your camera. Move and turn only with the keyboard and you shouldn't get this horrible performance issue.

Bit of an annoying workaround. Hopefully it doesn't take 'em too long to track down the problem.

Oh wait... Funcom is lying to us? The new engine is actually the id Tech 1 engine?

Running around mitaar with just keyboard is too damn awkward, at least for me.

Is there any list on something where people can check if a bug is known by FC and they are workign on it?
I personaly have no problem with finding workarounds since some fixes may take some time but it makes me feel better when I know FC knows about the problem.

I don t know where does the problem comes from in fact. Turning with KB works well but not with mouse.
Mitaar with keyborad only is doable but painfull. it one of the only place where we really need the cam turning i think. We all have our own way to play and move, and personnaly i use mouse turning a lot in fight and this lag really makes things painfull

Mitarr, grid, alien daily (bomb room), beast, save loacation in gardens. All the bad areas I can think of atm, there's more though. Fix please.

didn't noticed this bug and i use to turn with mouse only...can't play atm but i will check today.

(try going from Trade grid to Rome red grid... use the grid lift, then turn camera. Pray that you wont LD.)

This was very bad last patch, mouse look lag in every zone. Now, its partially fixed. It's most noticeable for me in Xan, Alien Dailies, and the grid. My entire client freezes up. Here's a screenshot of task manager after moving my mouse for 5 seconds:

I get worse lag in this game than in Age of Conan in full DX10 graphics.

I've got the same drop in FPS in the grid, in Mitaar and in alien missions. This all appeared in the 18.4 patch. I suspect it to be a problem with some ATI cards?

I've tried lowering graphics setting (all set to min), lowering resolution, disabling AA, re-installing the game and different forced setups with RadeonPro. All to no avail...

Current setup:
Win7(64bit)
Core 2 quad
8GB RAM
ATI5850

and I'm getting crazy rubberbanding in Pen and an orgmate from another county was also rubberbanding in pen too. What happened?

Pen rubber isn t new from the 18.4 but cam lag is.
