    Happened to me the first time to.. the boxes went splat in the first second of the fight.

    tank him on the side of the room where the adds spawn. when he warps to the middle to nuke, run and hide. When you get out of the boxes tank needs to get him away as fast as possible... i just Shot him and ran over to the other side of the room. He never took out the boxes when i did that.

    oki we got 3rd boss down also... too bad , beacon despawned and dead couldnt get back.. neeeeext^^

    On the first boss "Specialist Rafael Dietmart" ( the arrow boss) u will get a dot on you when he shouts Cowards IF u dont have a buff up and running from a side.. but if he shouts: "Cylinder of Speed" and u have that buff u will get it reversed = +500 inits and u will get -500 inits.
    this happend to me with the nanobuff also +15% heal eff/nano dmg turned into -15% heal eff/dmg

    And the only way ive done this boss is standing between the fire platforms over at the crit buff and keeping it up all the time.

    i played as doc in there.

    Seems a lot of people are still having trouble with this. What I learned on about 12 runs of this:
    The initial flames are always to the sides of him. When u aggro be either in front of him or behind him or get insta killed.
    The sequence of the flames seems to be 2 flames on arrows then 1 N/S or W/E across the whole middle. After the first few flames tho I didn't really count, just tried to stay alive... I was usually last one standing so I guess good intuition?
    Also, there are little flames before the big ones. The little ones hit hard, about 5k every half a sec BUT! They are only on the ground, if you jump to the side u can get out of the DoT faster.
    Also, when he shouts u should have a buff other than what he's yelling about, u have about 6 seconds to grab one, just dive for one closest to u as soon as he does a flame. He tends not to flame for about 3-5 sec after he just did one so u have some time window here. Not having any buff or having the buff he's yelling about will result in a 7-19k nuke.
    This is all I noticed in 12 runs, noone on my team listened when i told them this advice and we always had 3 or 4 dead within 10 seconds of aggro. Sorry I couldn't share more

    Also as a doc i would recommend if u bring a full team out, bring 2 docs. Will make team healing easier if someone lingers on the little flames but doesnt get nuked. This will also make the first part easier in case ur tank or doc get NSDed by the engineers for a second doc to pick up the slack. Good luck in there!

    3. ....i never got this far because either doc dies on 1. random flame. Or i get hit by instant nonwarned flames(lag? Sometimes i get warned like 2-3sec before. Others, none).

    Someone help me fill that list, it seams to be static, so it should work.
    I was with you on those runs myth and we were usually the only ones standing. I always had nano up at first and never had a problem with anything but flames until he started shouting other non-sense. Not static imo.

    I think coward just means have any buff running and ur OK.

    While normally i'm not in favour of such practices - however if they don't fix the second room i could see myself wanting to buy a PF with the 2nd room boss dead just so i can get to play it from then onwards.

    Done 2nd room once, and did DB3 from room 4 till end twice. Hardest part is floor 4 frankly. Floor 2, worked like a charm, only one person died cos (s)he forgot to rebuff at corner.

    I like the instance though. And my kippur has her first loot now.

    Since the Collector has safe areas like this too I guess it's a design trend with new instances, but it seems odd (to me anyhow) to go to all the trouble to design this crazy fiery room and then leave safe spots like that around.

    The few people I talked to that finished the instance so far did it this way, but I guess if they were smart enough to figure that out then more power to them ^_^

    At the most, in 3 weeks, people will have found out exactly how the instance works and how to exploit it and we will have another solo or 2 men farm.

    Yep. It's a dps race. Bot is.. 100% interruptable i want to say, so long as you have one melee it won't heal either at all. Then it's a matter of getting him down before he blows up, seen roots/snares work well for this one as it only matters if he gets to the sides rather than timed as far as i know.

    You have 3 min 30 sec to kill him or you go poof.. one melee and 2 crat pets work... or 2 engi pets works too. other combos works to I'm sure.

    Now that it is mostly figured out, I find this to be a nice instance overall. The need for lots of DD on the last boss will (hopefully) ensure that it does not deteriorate into a 2-man farm-fest.

    Future instances might be improved by adding more interactive elements like the boxes on the 4th floor, or even requiring players to dynamically interact with multiple elements based on (observable) randomly or player action triggered events.

    These interactions could also be leveraged to require a minimum number of players in the instance. For example: Tank stays on boss, healer stays on tank, the remaining 4 (or more) RI members have to push/trigger/use items in a coordinated fashion - just make sure it is more obvious than the second floor of DB3. ^^

    But yeah, overall, nice job, FC. There, I said it.

    My only gripe are those portal bosses. They drop nothing, spawn adds a bit too often and are, imho, just a waste of time.

    Especially the bosses that drop loot often drop just 1 item, and last boss only dropped up to 4 items as far as I have seen. :/

    The time taken to finish this instance and the level to co-ordination required to kill all 3 bosses are finally making people desperate for loot and yesterday i noticed a guy who tampered with Lootorder in 6th floor as he was last in roll. Normally, i dont check rolls made by team leader, but when he waited over min after killing the boss only to ask his org mate in team to do the roll, it made me curious to verify the rolls and it was not pretty! WoW, i knew ppl do that but it happened for the first time to me;( FYI, that guy is a 220 enf from Mayhem OTC. Saying names on forum is not allowed so......just beware!
