*Unofficial* 18.4.8 Update Release Notes

I think it would be interesting to list all the ninja changes that were patched without any warning in official patch notes.

Feel free to add your findings, I ll edit the list.

To start :

New healing kits work only if you and all your teammates and pets are out of combat.
In order to use the new sit down kits on somebody, both you and the target need to be sitting.
Ancient Novictum Refiner is Nodrop now
Healing a TowerFlagged toon or casting ANY buff on him will flag you for 1 min
(only works with towerflag / Shoplifter daily flag at the moment, not with "normal' flag)
Spirits casting Banshee Wail (dot) on you uploads new icon into your NCU
Spirit DoTs now do damage based on a percent of your total HP/Nano.
The lockout name on daily missions (Daily note from the agency...) has been changed to reflect which handler the lockout is relevant for. (EX. 'Daily note from the senior handler', or 'Daily note from the alien handler')
Doc's battlegroup heal perks no longer heal pets.
Added Borderless Window mode to the settings menu in the launcher.
New: new set of SL elite daily can be pulled form the NPC at the desk beside the DOJA chip NPC

Though, a warning that : you should cancel beneficial auras before coming close to anyone would be welcome

keeping custom names on pets (crat pets at least), without needing to rename them every time, requires you to select "keep pet name" option in pet window. otherwise, pets lose custom names next time you cast them.

this has been in game for months

DB2 Aune now does cloud and tower at the same time

Ancient Novictum Refiner was 11mil at Jagged Coast Yuttos today (that's with 1700+ cl) the lowbie that bought it to make Scheol quest pattern was charged 18mil.

Didn't see if there was a quest to get one other than the existing Yuttos/Scientist quest which really does require the garden key to do unless you want to /rage quit. Certainly the Yutto selling it didn't have an option for a quest.

Making it nodrop rather than unique makes no sense, it means anyone who was holding one on a mule so all toons could access it is screwed.

You dont need a Ancient Novictum Refiner to do garden quest.
You can ask anyone that have one to TS the novictum.
