Since the hectic nature of the "real" room 2 of DB3 does not tend to allow much time for the SL-nuke wielding NT to do much combat.
How about you give us the ability to "blow out" the some of the fledgling flames with our AoEs?
If the NT (or FP agent) is ready when the little flames appear and Casts a Cold-Damage AoE on himself Frigid Landscape or Circle of Winter perhaps? - woosh, flames within a radius of him extinguished before they can become large and deadly.
It may sound like an easymode - but its still open to the possibility that the NT(or agent) will mess up and be the death of everyone.
Aside from that though it means we'd have a real use in the Room 2 - because on the odd chance i survived more than a few seconds I realised that "real" version of that room was even more hostile to folks without special attacks, heals, pets or high health.
Edit-
Additional idea - for every flame that is blown out - the boss gets a little bit more deadly - so wise use of the AoEs is required and the urgency of killing the boss goes up the longer the raid goes on.
Edit #2
Might aswell add accumulated suggestions up here too i guess.
For traders - how about a Collecter-Style uploaded special "Dustbrigade Shipment" which respawns crates for room #4. Same idea as before though with putting out the fire - requesting new boxes makes the Boss hit harder. So you're only able to do it a few times before she's a monster.
For Fixers - we can let them hack the wall-computers in the final room. Causing the boss as he visits them to be stunned for an extra 10 seconds per visit.
But each stun causes the Slayerdroid to increase in ferocity.
For MPs - MP should not suffer damage from the Buff DoTs in room #2, but instead should have a new special uploaded for each of the DoTs they would have otherwise endured. (Temp special lasts 12 hours)
Each special will buff the MPs team with the identical bonus to what the corner items gives - a 1min buff. The specials could have a 4min cooldown.
So a team able to help their MP survive long enough to get hit by up to the 4 DoTs - will have an MP capable of repeatedly unleashing some very nice team buffs down the line.
