Except not many people play AO for a whole year. Most play for a month, go frozen, come back in 3 months to play for a few weeks, go frozen, and so on and so forth.

Also, no everyone can afford to pay for 12 months right off the bat. Believe me, if I could, I would... but as it stands, even though it's cheaper in the long run to buy the 12 months, I can only afford to pay it month by month at the moment...

In regards to what most of this post has been about, I tend to agree with the fact that they shouldn't be putting things in the store and not make them available in game somehow. It all starts with some nanopaint chip that can modify the look of an item, soon they'll be putting things in the store that are a must have for any leveling/twinking/generic etc toon. Like a new set of AI armor that is like cc/css/cm all combined into one, only buyable in the ingame store. Ok, thats extreme, but you get the pic... It just defeats the purpose of the game, some of us actually pay to play, not pay to pay.

I dont mind if the option is there to get some items from ingame store, but not if you cant get/make them ingame somehow too. :/
