I know that the devs will select the winner, and I'm feeling increasingly stifled by the inability to comment on entries, so I'd like to point out a few high-water posts and invite others to do the same. Hopefully this thread will stay on-or-near-topic.

Redesine's post pretty much covers the feelings & opinions of everyone I know that was tired of waiting & has left game for good, left game & waiting indefinitely for Funcom to step up, or is still here & waiting indefinitely for Funcom to step up.

If Redesine fails to win, barring some amazing late entry, then there is no justice in FC land. I expected Quitter to take the crown and while he delivered, Redesine was just too on point to be denied.

It being on-point and people agreeing with what is said isn't the same as it being a good QQ though. It's a QQ-competition, not a feedback-competition

Yeah, but he did write up a Fresh Prince parody and that scores bonus points for creativity. XD

Edit: And for the record, just before anyone actually *does*, no QQ about the QQ contest. We're all (or, well, the vast majority of us) are having fun with it thus far - Truth and comedy go hand-in-hand, and both are often just as painful. XD Most entrants are posting in the right spirit, doing it for the entertainment value of getting to truly vent for a change, and I don't wanna see any drama get kicked up to detract from that. So please - Let's keep it civil and jovial *outside* of the contest thread.

I seriously read his words (words...if they were written in stone from a blazing fiery fingertip would they still be mere "words"?) and found the essence of my heart and mind coalescing into one fluid thought: Abandon all Hope, the sun has set on Rubi Ka.

And therein lies the rub, as Wrange pointed out. QQ is generally (as I understand it) identified as something that can be easily dismissed by others, laughed off. Because his words rang true for so many folks one can only hope that his isn't selected by the devs as the best QQ post: to select it would diminish it.

On a related note I might add to my entry later, I would like to draw attention to the signature on my original forum account, which can be viewed here. I have not been able to log into this account since it was banned in the great Quitter Revolution approximately 7 months ago. Not one of the items in the signature has happened since then
