Obsidian Order
Who we are:
Obsidian Order is a 10+ year-old organization with members primarily in Europe and the US. We are a small close-knit group of friends who enjoy experiencing AO together and helping each other learn more about the game and make the most of our characters. Most of us are veteran AO players that have TL7 main characters, but also many alts at all levels, and a vast array of knowledge of all aspects of AO. Some of us play AO very intensely; others are more casual players. All of us enjoy the camaraderie and fun of OO, and we are looking for more to join our org family!
What we do:
Make friends and have fun! Kick butt and take names! Pump out as much damage as humanly possible and OD the world! Eat mosbricka! And defend our buddy Omni-Pol Secretary Lambeer from evil clanners that invade our hangout in Omni-Ent!
We also do many endgame PVM raids and encounters, and most of us enjoy PVP. However, we are neither a hardcore PVP-focused nor a hardcore endgame-raiding-focused org. Our members have pretty varied interests and goals in AO, and while we primarily do content at the high levels, we're usually happy to do whatever seems fun and helps our org members progress, be it an RK or SL team mission, AXP team, IS raid, quest team, or endgame raid/instance.
We own a large QL300 non-instanced city with playershops, where alien raid opportunities are available to ALL org members regardless of rank or level.
Who should apply:
- Level 50+ who already understand the basics of this game, but might need some more experienced folks to show them more. You don't need to know everything already; be willing to learn and we will be happy to teach.
- Players looking for a permanent home in AO and to make permanent friends, not just teammates or raiding partners.
- English-speaking players who know how to behave maturely and play nice with others. We love to joke around and poke fun at each other, but org channel should always be a friendly and comfortable place for all members, and members' behavior outside of org should also reflect positively on OO.
- Players who are not afraid or too shy to ask for help, but can also take initiative for themselves and be self-sufficient. Orgmates are here to help, but this is not a babysitting service; please know the difference.
- Froobs, sloobs, fullexpansionoobs, etc... currently, all of our active players have expansioned accounts, but we welcome players of any subscription level. (Many of us have froob toons or are former froobs ourselves!)
