So there is still too much money out there. Why not make a system where speding those would give per character prestige.
New title, you gain a rank for each 200/500/1000M deposited to certain NPC. Make good amount of these ranks like 50. This system shouldn't be cheap or affordable anyway, but credit drain in purest form.

How does vanity factor in? I would just see a person that was foolish enough to throw away tons of creds on a meaningless title.
