Okay, then I shall ask you. What do YOU think they do weekly? Do they work on ao 100 percent? If so give me some decent examples. Because adding treatment transfer in a can. Isn't amazing.
And they don't care. They respond to 1 percent of the forums post on here, and the one they did respone to was mine. And in your words "was a troll post" sure they might not have to respond to all, if any posts, but it sure would be cool to 100 percent understand what is going on behind the scene, but maybe you could enlighten me in on that aswell?
I dunno it might just be that they are working on code, implementing and building resources for the NPE. Fixing bugs and exploits, working on getting the new faces, scheming up yet another one room instance and call it endgame (sorry Genele but it is justified )
I mean what you "see" in AO is but nothing of the system that runs behind it, and as to why reply to your post? Well you acted like a douche and if I wanted to blow off some steam I'd take a shot at pissing you off for fun as well
Mkkk

Debugging code takes pretty much forever. Building a new area is also something that takes quite a lot of time. Implementing new features in a system that wasn't designed for this feature at the start takes a lot of time.
If there's about 4 guys working on AO now, that means there's like 24 hours a day's worth of work being put in to it. If they're all full time, and we know Michizure isn't.

You are hilarious. In a bad way. You posted the most illi-informed and pathetic attempt at humour I've seen all week.
I'll be nice and give you a starting hint. Genele is female.
If you want to break down the uselessness of her post and the fact she sidestepped all of the legitimate questions to post a sarcastic response, then do so. What you wrote was pure uninformed gibberish that did nothing except make you look very foolish.

By your standards masta AO should keep working on this game for another10 years and then come out with the new engi and the NPE. It has been way to long to wait for something that will prob not ever come out and if they are working so hard on all the things that is being said we at least want some prof to see what is being done some pic 1min video something so the players can see what is the great AO team doing Monday through Friday.
Access to the Trader shop for non trader characters.
This is an item that will set a bit on your character. This will let you access the specialist commerce vending machine even though you are not a trader.
- Genele
What do you mean by "This is an item that will set a bit on your character"?
As for being able to have access to the trader shop, I think this is a good idea. I made a trader for access to the shop and after a few hours of grinding through missions I'm actually to bushed to transfer all my loot to it so it can go to the trader shop. As Im clan I just use the Miir store in Newland City and be done with it. Depending on the price I may or may not buy this nano/item. Their is a lot more to the professions whose handy items we can buy now such as portable bank or whatever. If they ever change the f2p I'm sure some of the wretches who are posting the doom and gloom predictions will be very glad they can buy those items. For me its just a matter of convenience. Traders are hard to play and my hats off to those that level up past 25.
These monthly posts from devs are so hilarious. All they do is keep repeating same stuff over and over and over and over and wait for it... over again.
Wish people would stop going for the carrot that FC has been dangling in front of you all these years.
I bet you 5 bucks that I can write you the post for the next month:
-Still working on NPE
-Fixed something on engine, getting closer to beta
How close am I?
Any rough estimations on this beta?

It's not relevant if you think it's amazing or not. If you can't tell what work they are doing from the monthly updates they give, what does it matter what I think they do? Bottom line is that you think they are lying to you anyways, so it doesn't really matter what anyone says ... you've convinced yourself you know otherwise.

Awwww muffin, need a tissue?
The thing about monthly updates is that they aren't always written in a way that gives meaningful insight into timelines. What sounds like 'quick fixes' may very well have taken an entire week of everyone's time.
I just reread Genele's update (ignoring the itemshop stuff that annoys me) and she clearly lists what they've been doing. The problem (might be) that to a layman that 'sounds' like they've been doing nothing.. probably because people that don't program or have no idea what type of messy code they're dealing with.. have no idea how long it takes to do anything with AO code.
It is very well possible that the few things mentioned are more than enough to fill up all available time. It just may not seem that way.. and when we've been hearing the same type of stuff for years.. it all starts to sound like 'yada yada yada'.
I like the concept of a monthly update but if there's nothing new to report.. why waste the time? Engine is coming.. NPE is coming.. we know this... and we'll know it even more when its on Test server. Until then, there really isn't a need to tell us that they got the rocks fixed or the water running. It just really seems like a waste of their time (if its in that short of a supply).
