The issue is Minimum Damage. ACs only affect the range between max and min dmg. At 220, an engineer can reach over 20k ACs selfed with FS, while maintaining over 15k static.

That's 1.500-2.000dmg reduced on every hit. The very big problem? The large minimum damage on todays' weapons. Or pretty much any weapon introduced since AI (tho SL already had some silly ones).


If you want to see crazy amounts of ACs, have a tanky enforcer team an engineer. With Troll & FS the enf can reach close to 30k. At least for a short period of time.
