Neutral neck items

Can we please get something decent for us between levels 100-190? Doesn't have to be as powerful as the sided ones, I just want something better than 100 hp and nano.

It works okay enough. Before you can get that quest just put on a https://aoitems.com/item/246125/ if you'd like. Implants + Mochams + Wrangle and you can get it on at VERY early levels (the OE won't matter too much).
I even keep the Collar on some toons and ignore the quest board. Each to his own.

There's decent enough options for me not to miss the sided boards, ymmv.

I purpose Carbon neckboard. Ql 1-220, 1cl per level, made from carbon + shape hard tool, Also gifs runspeed, hp nano round 1k at ql 220, 220 runspeed, some inits, and add melee damage.

Neutral only.

But it's not decent enough, especially around lvls150 to 189 before we get the smuggled nanite boards.

I would, of course, love to get an ICC / DB / etc themed mid-range board (high-end wouldn't hurt either but the Xan ones are working decently enough as-is), but it's obviously not a dire necessity.

Ahh, well for leveling I find it more than adequate, it's just that the aao/aad and health bonuses are pretty nice in pvp.

For PvP purposes it can be nice but I never really seen any brutal imbalance caused by it (somewhat out of the tower wars nowadays but I was pretty active in the past), be it at lower TL's or TL7. Maybe it shows itself more in dueling (which I don't really do much of).

i would be neutral if they were given same benefits like the two other faction sides. why is neutral nerfed with less benefits? becose your neutral in something does it mean your stupid?

Neutrals are supposed to be neutral. Thus they don't get tokens for their "heroic effort" in the war. It's really not that hard to understand. They already have access to BS and Towers, which is ridiculous enough. If they want neckitems/tokens, turn them into a real faction with own territories etc and let them actually participate in the war. No more walking around everywhere, because no ones gonna hurt the poor neuts, and no more "I support the winning side".

Neutrals are just a third faction. (Funcom just made a big mistake choosing this name for our faction)

The concept that neutrality in war means just "not taking either side" is hard to grasp for most people.
Neutrals in AO, for those who don't know anything about lore, are generally traders and MERCENARIES. Mercenaries side with whatever faction they can either profit from or get benefits from, permanent or temporary, and then side with the other to get some more.

Failing to understand this is failing to understand why neutrals can easily, as far as AO goes, get neck items (not necessarily token boards).

The irony is that, if one bothers to read the damned book on which this game's storyline is based, neutrals are mostly aligned towards the clans as far as ideology goes. They don't quite agree with their methods or want the lack of freedom that comes with them. This is somewhat further shown in the Shadowlands expansion and GoS/Redeemed/Unredeemed ideologies and connections.

The main reason neutrals, in RK2, had to side with omni was the messups of a single neutral organization (not even one of the largest at the time) regarding raiding and factions. Neutrals (as a faction) ended up being banned from the clan-side bots and forced to either make their own raid force or side with omni. Many chose to go the easy route..

Genele was a great example of what a GD should never ever be. Vindictive towards players, ignorant of the lore and too biased towards/against certain professions/sides.
90% of her statements should be indeed quoted.. as an reminder of what should never be done again.

Check Michi for what seems to be the polar opposite.

P.S. - Personally, after a decade of playing neutral toons and having friends on all 3 factions, side mostly with the clans when not playing with neuts these days because I don't like what omni has become in terms of playerbase. In BS I side with "whoever needs more people to make it run", as I see it as a "Red vs. Blue" type of thing rather than a true battle. Ymmv.
