Hey! I used the other ItemAssistant Before and have upgraded to IA:Light for a while ago and Everything worked find. Now for some reason it dosent work good so I tought i reinstall it, remove all traces of IA:light. Now it doesent work at all, any tips to get it to work again?

  4. #304
Well, lets start with defining what "it doesnt work good" means.

    Was it slow?
Was it not detecting changes to items?
    Was it not opening?
    Did it miss some characters?
    What wasn't "working so good"?

And what does "doesent work at all" mean?
    Does IA open?
    Does it show items?
Does the log file contain any errors?
    Does it detect your characters?

  5. #305
Ah, i should probably described the error better

The problem i got was it dident find items i know i had and it dident chagne items at all, thats why i reinstalled it and manually removed the database (ofcourse i took backup Before removing).

Now, it starts fine and all, not slow or anything but it doesent detect toons neither items then. No error in logfile as i can see.

What *does* the log file say? Can you post it somewhere?

People keep asking me for the code to IA:Light, yet nobody seems willing to take it on

Think I got it working now, the problem was the software was running as administrator and the client not, but now it find my toons and indexes bags and so on. One slightly problem left, if i change name on a bag in AO it doesent get picked up by IA. What language is it written in?

    Written in C#.

Do you have several clients installed? (old, new, test)
Could be IA detects the wrong folder somehow.

Also one known issue you'll run into is that roughly ~1300 items will be unknown to IA.
It does not properly parse the new engine database.

Yes, got both test, old and new installed. Removing the profilefolders in local/funcom that belonged to test and new client worked just fine, now Everything seems fine and i can rebuild my database *phew*!

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello,
I have a little sugestion that I hope would not be too difficult to implement and at the same time would make many raidleaders happy.

There is already "/loot" command that opens up the last open body and their loot
If you could add a button to auto copy/paste it to active chat window (the one where raidbot is running) that would allow to add all loot to raidbot in 2 following ways:
option 1 - every item from body is added to loot as 1 item
option 2 - every item from body is added to loot as 1 item with exception of all symbiants and spirits that are added as " all symbs" and "all spirits" (that would be usefull for rolling 12m loot as most raidleaders do not roll those 1 by 1)

Thanks a lot for excellent tool and hope that you will like this suggestion.

I ve noticed a following bug:
If I open loot and check item statistics (without looting it) IALight adds it to that character without showing any location.
So it is a bit confusing because from that moment it will show in searches within IALight but in fact I do not have that item , because I did not loot it.

Just as long until you log that char off - at least in my case.

Thx for really great and useful command. The inconvenience is that items are added to list as reference so they have no icons. Is this possible to add items just as name - bot will recognize each item by name and add icons automatically..? Also "Add all" button would be helpful.

That's really a problem with your bot though, not IA
Our orgbot handles references just fine.

No future updates planned for IA.

I agree, references are OK, the only thing is that there are no icons. Try add any item as simple text and check results. Bot will find item in DB and change text to reference with icon on the left.

We got our own privately developed orgbot.

It doesn't suffer from many of the other limitations
