New engine keeps crashing, Win 8.1 x64, AMD R9 280X

As the title says.

The new engine client regularly jsut crashes out of the blue, just freezes.
Starts showing artefacts out of nothing (even after working properly for hours)

Anyone has a solution?

Asrock Z87 Extreme 6
Core i7-4770k
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB
MSI R9 280X GAMING3G with latest drivers
Windows 8.1 Pro x64

Hello, I am running an AMD processor x64 too. updated to win 10 with no problems. But I have a hunch from your description it sounds like a graphics issue. Have you updated your software lately? For graphics card and/or os? I had a problem on another machine to do with shder n older graphics card when it finaly got into Anarchy client was sorta dark as compared to my newer pc. I hope this helps.
