New Alien Technology

Surely after battling the invaders for so long, we have learned a thing or two. Due to recent advancements in technology, players who have attained ai level 30 will gain access to a newly discovered device, the alien signal spoofer. This device will cause kzorch equipment and tools to behave as if the player has alien tech 3 perked, even while they do not.

Please make this a thing, Funcom :-)

Maybe a farmable alien specification like shadowlands spec?

Would be better for all classes to have three extra perks in something useful so wouldn't be imbalanced.

Not really as AI3 give no bonuses to "strenght" of character. It would only allow to change armour without the need of reseting perks.

AI3 doesn't provide any stat bonuses, no. I was thinking about all the other stuff you could perk instead, though. But I have thought about it some more and, yeah, I guess if you just perk it to equip that stuff, deperk over the next 6 hours, and reperk it anywhere else you want, it makes no difference if you get the perks for free, too.

it be overpowerd to open up ai tech 3 for free, obvious and would destroy the game even more, i belive dev's has a hard time already to try balance things, and it just given em more job if ai tech 3 were opend.
arith armor to buff with to spare ip with ai tech open would spare to much ip on certain profession that would give higher benefits.
not to mention the opertunity to hotswap cc armor with css for more ar/evades on wish etc, it be redicules on certain professions.

I could hotswap an arithmetic set on my adv to help with casting Improved Vengeance. Would it break the game? No. Would it be a nice perk for Ai 30 people? Yes please.

I think I like the specialization idea too, but the mechanic is also already in place for the Signal Spoofer. Bazzit's library already prevents you from using items unless you have it. Why couldn't Bazzit present the spoofer as an award for dedicated service to the defense of Rubi Ka or some jazz like that?
