    why isn't an ai armor go OE after u detrain aixp perks?

    so you have CC 300. and are uber. but u untrain your aixp perks. why isn't the armor go OE?it should. shouldn't it?

    OE does not count for ATE(Alien Technology Expertise) perks I believe, only the skill requirements. In this case Agility and Strength.

    well them, truth be told, it's an exploit. but not only exploit. it's a tolerated exploit. with funcom's involvement. wonder if they imagine how many people are abusing this. in my book it's called corruption.

    it's like when your burden is oe, but your abilities dont drop. or the bracelets. or like that trader mogul that agents can cast. or the multi-melee/ranged req. lots of overlooked corruption. i dont know who invented the "OE" idea. but i know it's not respected. i know extra programming has to go in to avoid this rule.

    Some stats go OE, some don't. This has been this way from the start and it's actually intended behaviour (thus not an exploit). Same goes for the ATE perks.

    Doesn't mean you have to like it, but it IS intended.

    OE is one of the core mechanics of this game and the reason it's so much more interesting than most of your other run of the mill MMOs

    AI TECH perks should be removed just like map navigation.

    Amen. 3 wasted points just to put on armor. At least make it permanent after you complete the quest. Any other option is acceptable at this point.

    the reason fc tolerate exploits, manipulations and stuff is because fc is manipulator them self, and I believe it would only be worser if fc say they don't tolerate this stuff, and doing it them self behind ppls back hoping no one will notice

    And to make things more complicated I'll use some old already in-game examples similar to the specialisations for SL. After you've done Bazzit you'll be able to do a 3 part quest and get a "check" behind each AI tech when you've fulfilled corresponding part of the quest. Slight change might be that you’ll also get an AI version kinda “Shadowbreed-like” perk along with it. Perk enables you to equip corresponding Tech lvl AI stuff for X time and Y lock-out etc.

    Bazzit is doable for all levels (with help) and the follow up quest opens at the appropriate AI tech lvl caps lvl 15, 75 and 150.
    Use 3 perks or do a 3 part quest and free up 3 perks, choice is up to you.

    When this is in-game, stuff might get changed to go OE if you untrain AI tech perks.

    I would let it as it is. Otherwise it would simply boost all professions... which doesn't seem needed to me.
    It's a choice... you keep those perks and so you can swap or you don't and can't swap. AO is all about choices.
    It certainly isn't an exploit... in ao, some reqs make you go oe, some don't.
    There are no problem that an absence of solution could'nt solve

    The choice between a 7th AI perk action or being able to hotswap AI armor is a big one. I'm not a fan of removing that choice

    hell no. this is no map navigation. i think, armor should just be as effective as many perks u trained. it would be fair. someone said, i think, it's he's freedom to be able to switch armors. and that he didn't want me to take that away. on the contrary. i want us to enjoy it. we wasted 3 perks. loose 3 perks. so why not get what we deserve? ai 30 an training ai nano 10 is just... silly. make ai armor OE. PLS. no perk... goes oe. u have 2 perks, goes oe 67. u have one perk, goes oe 33%. over-equiped.PS that guy that said "freedom armor" i think said it all. couldn't find the post, think he deleted it?! anyway. it's just 3 perks. 40smth nanoskills. and a perfect exploit. again, accepted and supported by funcom. its' the most insane unfair thing imho. my main in agent. i have a friend that got me to play ao who's main is agent. as you would expect he played more. he is ai 30, i am only 27. he has alpha, i have like 240ish symbs. in the end, in regards to nano skills, i can switch to some arith armor to buff. and right there, i get an extra 210 nano skills he doesn't. and he thinks it's better to cast worse procs for which he needs perks in aitech nano skills. it's a complete joke. just how hard are arith to farm?but funcom doesn't want another supple. instead, like the other dude that thought he is liberated for being able to change ai armors, i too think it should count. and be hard to do. that perk was made for a reason. and people that sacrifice 3 perks for it, and loose 40-50 nano skills, should be rewarded for their efort. and arith should be more expensive then supple. if funcom didn't manipulate the market

    I still think AI30 should give you automatic AI tech 3 benefits.

    i think, there are 2 sides to each coin. and i for one stand on one side. not sure funcom on my side. or they accept it's 2 sides. that's what i am saying. there is no other item ingame that doesn't go OE. except aitech. but they are special. u need perk to equipt but not to go oe. it the only exception in an otherwise flowed math. again. i dare u to think of another OE situation like this. it's just wrong. i think if what u are trying to wear req ai 3, and u only have 2, that equip should be oe. only 67% effective. if u have ai1. 33% effective. it's the rule of the land. i get simply deleting the perks alltogether. but simply making them irelevant (only relevant when u equip stuff) is breaking your own game. just saying.

    It's relevance was probably tied in to the original perk reset time of 1 perk per 3 days. It took over a week to perk into it and over a week to perk out of it.
