I did some more Punching Bag tests today with my adv and his more damage oriented gear than the last time a few months ago:
2 Minutes on timer for each dump (+/-6s ingame due to dumper ticking):

Some interesting conclusions:
- We MAY be able to drop FA out completely with no significant (+/-5%) DPS/DD loss for casual play. - As you can see from situation 1,2,3 and 5, All 3 combinations of pure Fling/Burst (Reflex+Peh'wer/Reflex+Twitch/Twitch+Peh'wer) were very close to the JEPP+Peh'wer. I assume that in min-dmg situations like SL, for a real focused Fling/Burst Adventurer, they would be on par with the FA adventurer. This means one less button pressed each 11s, not needing to carry Energy ammo, and that annoying sound begone! Plus higher damage if you want to AFK during a raid
- FA + Twitch still seems the go-to for max-damage situations - Non SL or others with high ACs, it still seems to be the perfect choice. I've been swapping Twitch for my RK/AI situations and putting on Peh'wer for SL/others, seems it's still a strong advice to get around 6-7% of a damage increase.
- While changing a few items from +Crit to +Dmg (DB Covering + Goddess boots ( both +1 % ), to CC legs/boots), and adding +20ish I miss from Alpha Artillery wrists (I took Support), I'm pretty sure I may be able to do 15.000 FA damage, somewhat reliably at least when buffs are up. Feels an accomplishment being able to do 15.000 FA damage as an Adv!
All tests were completed in Cat Form, with MOP + Coffee, sitting at 59% Critical increase with a Added to Poison Damage Total: 1067 points in +dmg gear. I am not sure if it is the high dmg/crit gear that allows this small difference between tries, or if it is scalable linearly for lower gear levels, but at least now I know what to do if I want to AFK damage!
I need to do more testing in real situations with the FA thing, maybe we won't need to rely on the FA pistol IF other areas are properly buffed.
