Edit the AO Map

Hi there. I would like to know what i have to use for made a map and how i can extract the actual map for modify it (obtain png map) and recompile it. I searched around but i have found nothing about that. Someone can help me ? Thanks!

You can use Demoder's map compiler:

Or AO Skintool:

Personally I like AO Skintool more for extracting and Demoder's compiler for compiling, but each tool can do both.
