Pump Master - lost glory?

I have a Pump Master lying around. Is it still a good gun for lowbie trader pvp twinks? If so, what level do people aim to equip it these days?

Though it can basically be equipped at level 1, pump master remains a solid ranged option for pvp traders up to about level 25. It will never out damage neleb's or stygian, but it has low IP cost and the slow high hits work well with roots. The reason it holds on to its viability is that there really arent many other great ranged options for a trader twink at this level. onehander is weak here, ithaca is still pretty weak here for dps, pistols have implant conflicts, and rifles are usually weaker than the pump trainee with much higher requirements though they can be amazing with osb. neutrino flash might out damage a pump master, but not by much, and the constant low hits from 1/1 speed means you will end up spending more nano on roots. Again there are some implant conflicts with assault rifle.
