Stats dont add up...urgent.

Im in the process of fitting some symbs on my fixer (opi 171) with all breedcaps and im having a problem where frequently what i add up from base stats doesnt match up to adding stuff on from current stats.

e.g
Psychic (448 cap)
+ 12 (comp att)
+ 20 (ns)
+ 40 (2x O.E.T Jess)
+ 30 (2x VTE)
+ 10 (LE research)
+ 21 (growing ear)
+ 39 (enhance dna)
+ 20 (genius)
+ 8 (opifex secondary genome)
+ 9 (~180 miy's nano armor helmet)
+ 4 (anillo casero)
= 661

Psychic (553 current with no buffs running)
+ 12 (comp att)
+ 20 (ns)
+ 40 (2x O.E.T Jess)
+ 30 (2x VTE)
+ 9 (~180 miy's nano armor helmet)
+ 4 (anillo casero)
= 668

Where has 7 points come from? I've gone through every single item that im wearing countless times to see if psychic comes up. It doesn't - anyone else had this experience?
I've also got the same problem when calcing up intel (3 points difference).

Intelligence (574 current)
+ 12 (comp att)
+ 20 (NS)
+ 40 (2x O.E.T jess)
+ 30 (2x VTE)
+ 14 (~180 miy's nano armor helmet)
= 690

side note: Im aiming for 683 - so if anyone can help me with the few other points i need in psychic it'd be much appreciated. (No armor except back/neck, Hud 3 i'd like for treatment)

Dont have any towers or benefits. Just realised i can imp chest for last bit of psychic, then take chest out again. So i dont need to worry about psychic, but still wondering about where the points have come from...

The city will give you abilities based on the size of the hq and whatever level you are. do /org benefits in chat iirc. or maybe it's /org city...

The contract option is for org contracts that you have when your org has a tower site.

Actually, I've noticed somethign like this.

Out of fight I've got 860 sense imp, (enough for 858 req on the blind ring from IS)

IN fight, I keep getting messages that I don't have the req.

And it's not vs. trader. somehow, upon entering a duel, at LEAST this nanoskill fluctuates by about 3 points. This is fully buffed, everytime, with no change in equip.

It's bizarre, and I've noticed it several time in the last couple months.

Whats more bizarre, upon duel ending, I'll recheck the stat and it'll be >858.

So, seems like there is a weird debuff or the check is higher than the listed value.

I don't get it.

There was a bug that did something like this but more extreme. I am not sure if it is still happening, but it is quite avoidable as it is anyways.

I only mostly experienced it on my fixer, but what would happen is I would log fix, and immediately hit a grid jump nano. Something with the way the handshake with connecting to the server would prevent you from being zoned out of the area you are in, and would zap your nano skills - and probably other skills - and if you did not relog, they did not reset.

Could be other things that happen similar to the way this happens that cause small decreases in skills without much explanation. Wouldn't surprise me.

Plus if you are referring to fighting around people's towers.. There are towers out there that ransack your skills, and are only affective in a specific area. If it is just a regular /duel there must be something that does it, just have to investigate it a bit more.

You can't zone normally for a few seconds after you log in, thats supposedly intended to stop some exploit. The fixer quick grid nanos have a harsh debuff attached that only affects you if you don't zone, no idea why. So your problem doesn't seem to be related to his.

Trader, MP and NT can all debuff your nanoskills and every prof has access to nanoskill incompetencies. There also is a perk that debuffs nanoskills and this one is not visible I think (in contrast with the debuffs giving a "... executes ... in your NCU" and being visible in your NCU).

I made a habit of doing items changes and then zoning 2 times and then look at the stats. This is because I have noticed that when I swap imps/symbs/armor/huds for a prolonged period of time sometimes they don't add up correctly. Zoning usually corrects this for me.


As a side note if you still are at it: in case you can dispense with the treatment med-suit sleeves, you could try for some Miy's nano armor sleeves. Using a support enduring brain could help you as well.

Also, I usually make 2 types of ql 200 chest/waist imps: stam/psych/str chest, sense/psych/str chest, sense/agi waist and sense/stam waist.
