Clan Bar Review: "Enjoy it while it lasts"
Omtron
Tir -- Omni-Tek Press Corps -- Reporter Omtron visits Tir's bar establishment "Enjoy it while it lasts," and discovers a shocking battle to the death custom there.
When I stroll through the clean breath-taking atmosphere of Omni-Entertainment, I know I can find much to do and see. In the center of town people gather to test their might in the Arena. While this may seem brutal and frightening to some people, we must realize that those who go there and fight do so of their own free will, knowing full well the danger they put themselves into. But what about those with no free will? What about those neglected people forced to live a dreadful life of deadly combat day in and day out?
That's exactly what I found in Tir, in a bar establishment called "Enjoy it while it lasts." The pink neon sign with two people engaged in battle didn't spark much in my imagination. It's typical that the brutal and savage clanners of Rubi-Ka do nothing but think of violence day in and day out. So why not put it on your business sign?
When I entered I moved right. There was what seemed to be a restroom there, nothing exciting. To the left was a small bar with one Atrox bartender that looked underpaid and really moody. But straight from the entrance is what shocked me.
As I entered the room I gazed at a glass cage surrounding two beautiful ladies. For some odd reason they were in a puddle of water about ankle high. They were also in the middle of battle. This really didn't bother me at first, I figured they were just doing some friendly Martial Arts for display.
That was until one of them fell dead.
She had been brutally killed for what was now apparant nothing more than sport. A few minutes later I watched in horror as yet another lovely young lady was brought in and she began to fight the previous victor over the dead body of the recently deceased.
In anger I stormed out of the bar and straight to Athens around the mission terminals area. Where, apparently, this seems to be really the only place you can find a decent group of Clanners to talk to. I questioned them outright:
Omtron: Why do you Clanners find it amusing to put people to death for sport in your nightclubs?
Eray: Death is not permanent!
Faidra: It's entertaining.
Death is not permanent? It's entertaining? This is it? No sympathy, no compassion - in typical Clanner style they were cold as Winter. I couldn't convince any Clanners of how wrong it was to force people into battle against their will in a glass cage with no escape. No freedom.
If you know someone who, like these poor innocent women, has no freedom. Please have them visit any local Omni-Tek recruiting station. Or, help them purchase an Omni-Tek application form at a local vendor shop. Everyone has the right to freedom, and through Omni-Tek we can all enjoy true freedom.
