Thread: Grid Point for Tir

    Grid Point for Tir

If the new grid point for Tir is inside Tir, then how does an Omni sided player get to that region of the world above level 60 for raids, cyborgs, etc. w/o the use of a yalm?

It was nice to be able to grid to the outside of Tir and not have to risk the ire of the guards to explore that particular part of the world. I can understand the frustration of not having a grid point inside a major city, but if leaving the grid point there on the outside, wouldn't it be easier to just add a an option to grid inside or outside the limits as with gridding from the tower grid point?

I say this because even when I played as clan, I always found Tir to be such a maze and hassle (especially with only two exits) that it was best to just avoid at all costs.

Buy a map, buy a yalm, learn the city layout, run really fast, whompah to Varmit Woods. Any and all of these sugesstions will make your Tir visiting days a lot easier. Thank you for whining.

After exiting IS, run/fly west and you get to player cities with whompas, no big deal

Or you can still use the grid point outside of Tir just like you used to

Grid point in Tir makes it a bit more difficult for lowbie Omnis to get to the area, no different than clan getting to areas outside Rome. More clan should start hanging out there now, reducing lag in OA.

How DARE omni whinge about not being able to get ANYWHERE as fast as clan. Let us think on examples of where it is the other way around shall we?

    Omni City Whompahs
"Recently" added whompah directly to Foremans
That portal thing taking you outside ToTW
    Steps of Madness
Basically everywhere East of omni Ent

Fairly surely certain there are more but those are the big annoying ones that I can think of

Keep in mind that the grid exit wasnt moved outside Tir to make it convenient for ommers to go to Tir and/or that area.
