Question about Expansion

When the expansion comes out, will the devs still work on the expansion and the game? What I'm asking is will they keep adding stuff to shadowlands and AO? Or is shadowlands gonna be a finished product (after the bugs of course) which they will do nothing else to?

If expanding the expansion is the case, then I would be forced to buy it. With the rate of things going now, it seems like 2/3's of the developers are working on shadowlands. So if they keep most the devs workin on shadowlands, then content for AO will be dramatically slow.

I only hope that when they put out shadowlands they move back to AO and keep a few left for shadowlands.

Any answer from Funcom would be appreciated excluding "I don't know" or "I'll get back to you on that".
