Nexus (better known as the 'Nexus Drama Squad' in some circles) is a growing Organisation, filled with very knowledgable players, both new and old to the game. Our Organisation has been kicking about since the beginning of 2005, but we continue to welcome individuals who are like-minded to ourselves.
So who are, and what is Nexus exactly?
Literal definition of Nexus? "A means of connection; tie; link." This is my primary basis for the general code of conduct which we observe in the Organisation. Nexus first. We're your family; treat us as such. If you weren't aware, we're kind of a big deal.
What are we looking for in new recruits?
(i): A sense of humour. Seriously; a lot of shenanigans go down in the Nexus Channel - I'd like to think we can all participate and have a laugh. Crude, rude and generally 'out there'.
(ii): Doesn't matter how long you've played for, whether the game is your life or a hobby - so long as you're willing to integrate to the best of your ability. Froobs are welcome, subscribers especially such, owing to the majority of our membership being of the latter.
(iii): You are independant, and willing to learn for yourself. This doesn't mean we are unwilling to help develop your character(s), just that we'd prefer no demanding, begging or 'expecting' people to drop what they're doing for you. We're all busy from time to time, and like you, we play for the enjoyment of it.
What do you get out of joining?
As with any Organisation, you become part of a social network within the Rimor community; somewhere to pick at more experienced players' brains, and to to meet a variety of different people. Some whom you may be able to level with, form a group for AXP, or even something so simple as get a Treatment Transfer from.
What do we have to bring to the table?
A tight-knit group of players, who know what they are doing, and have the knowledge to help you get ahead in-game.
Paid player? We have a QL300 City, which is raided regularly, with primarily TL7+ players attending, though TL3/TL5 raids do occur from time to time.
Not unlike most (half-)serious Organisations, we have Towers. This may appeal to the PvPers out there, as you'll have some incentive to retain Contract bonuses, and no 4-Hour flag if you engage in an offensive; this is preferably cleared with myself or a Board Member prior to participation.
