    Indeed, which is why capping the attack skill useable by a nano would be so effective - sure, you can *cast* that ql7 root, but chances are its going to be resisted...

    Ok,
    if I pick up a ql10 rifle do I not hit you just as easily as if I had a ql200. granted it would be much lower in damage, but I would have the same attack rating so I would hit you the same. roots and other nanos work the same, I do think that nanos like roots and drains etc should have a higher than a 100% resist (not much higher ... but a higher yes) and nukes should have a tad lower resist like (75% sorry but an NT's weapon is its nukes and if they fix nano resist then an NT can't hit you) if they fix nano resist .. and jack the percentage of resist on roots up a little bit I think that would be adiquate, but I am sorry your an MA I rooted you, you get to stay put, deal with it or quit.
