    Then from the MMO list see how tiny AO is.

    Sorry about the omnimed quality, that's the only screenshot I could find in recent times of someone wearing it, and the test live guard was aggro...

    Edit: Realised that the screenshots were a bit too large for forum usage (1200px height) made "thumbnails". Hit link for full image. Small image is highly compressed jpg and not representative of full quality.

    All images taken at 1920x1200 with 8x Anti-Aliasing, 16x Anisotropic Filtering, and texture filtering set to high quality.

    Electronite: FFA also destroyed Clan hegemony when it comes to tower wars. Ironically the downfall was started by the most active pvpers. Another ironic thing is that the downfall happened due to pvm conflict. Silirrion: (We have pretty good anti-troll filters by now though) Means: Thong-wearing troxes will always be a part of this game and a point of AO pride. Keldros: Obviously reall trolls don't use conditioner Marlark: If this forum was Swedish in it's language .. id pawn you any day. 220 NT: tl7 is a joke most of the time. 90% of the people are double double dead. some are worth debuffing tho. Mastablasta: you guys are right and I'm wrong. Ebag: No. You alpha me'd due to the stat bug. More Ebag: I don't have any twinks currently, nor do I participate much in mass TL7 PvP (though I do go occasionally, usually just to watch). Questra: an MP in sneak eNSDed me and did about 20k damage in 10-12 seconds

    Not turned up, looks like god rays enabled and all sorts of cool stuff. It's bright coz the sun is high-right, and a fair representation of effect.

    I don't really like the armor plating on the legs. I liked the old style better. Still looks good though.

    looks like the sunray pic was enhanced to show the light beaming down t the edge of the shadows. done so they could show the real time shadow creation. Also you can see that the items in the pic are casting shadows as well. Looks really good for a proof of lighting/shadow.

    Also its not in Tir witch is stellar :P

    Looking forward to some full screen movies showing AA/AF preformance and "rounding" so the models arent so jagged.

    Is it just me, or do the helmets still look terrible?

    I like the armor repaints for the most part, but dammit; the helmets just look awful to me lol.

    The omnimed is okay, I think. But the flowers tech or w/e that is.... I dunno, I just never liked them. XD

    The shot was not enhanced. The sunray is cast from the sun in addition to the dynamic shadowing. You can see the same effect in action in this screenshot of AoC ( http://media.photobucket.com/image/a...eaxle/Dx10.jpg)

    I personally think, that the biggest visual boost will come from bumpmapping, proper gloss map rendering, phong shading (since AO was using Gouraud shading from DX7), dynamic shadows, shinies (water, grass) and for the very very strong machines SSAO (if they get it to work).
