December 2003, April 2004, December 2005. Stop the necromancy

Nvidia 6800GT works smoothly tho and there hasn't been big problems with nvidia compatibility recently, mostly just ATi incompatibility

Plus, mentioning drivers you are using and if other games than AO work stably would be pretty useful for figuring out the problem

oh, and for blurry graphics, check antialiasing options. They screw up AO big time (all text parts etc). Alternative problem for blurryness, from options menu, Visual -> Misc -> makes sure 'Offscreen surface technology' is OFF. Causes lots of graphical glitches when it's on. Makes water look pretty tho.

Well for 1 this post was started like 3 years ago
and last post before today was over a year ago
so to be honest u prob best to start your own thread as an unrelated issue.

If ur using a GeForce 4 Mx id recommend updating
as Nvidia are upto like 7 series now and MX is short for cheap version so its never gonna be great performance as a 2 year old card running a recently updated game.

    But on the upside.
What driver version are u using ?
Best option is to get lastest drivers as they will attempt to make your card
work along side todays latest features even if your card is unable to do them.

Current Nvidia drivers are on like version 81.xx
    Make sure u have Direct X 9.c

And if u still got probs check to see if your card is onboard or seperate
Either way disable or remove and buy a better one.

A GeForce FX 5700 Ultra only like £30 online.
gonna be better performance than a Mx440
