Post Armour and Weapons Guide for Keepers

Here is a current guide to armor and weapons for keepers, I will update it as more options become available. If any one has anything they would like me to add simply P.M. it to me. I've numbered the sections now so stuff should be easier to find.

    Section 1 - Armor Types
    Section 2 - Weapons Types
Section 3 - Where to find Weapons
Section 4 - Where to find/ How to make Armor
Section 5 - How to boost your Keeper's Melee Init.

    Section 1
    -=ARMOR=-
    Level 1-100
    CAS
This armor is great at any level but not to hot for pvp considering its so weak v.s. cold damage and people just love to use cold damage weapons these days.
    Carb
This armor is also pretty good at any level, little cheaper then CAS but has some pretty big AC holes and over all AC is a little lower.
    Omni Pol
Some of the best blitzable armor out there, require Stam/Str which is easy to buff, also has nice ac's for the availability, however, it has not HP or NCU bonus like Cas or Carb.
    Flowers Tech
Best blitzable armor if your not Omni, this stuff is extremely nice and not to hard to get into.
    Infantry Armor
This is defiantly a good set of armor for your keeper while it has some what limited availability in the higher levels, it is some what common to find around QL 80 to 130. It has very nice HP boost (+400 with full set around ql 80) and a notable init boost (+82 around 80)
    Zealot's
This armor set only consist of about 4 peaces; chest, gloves, legs, boots, sleeve. The AC’s suffer pretty badly even when you put CAS or Tire 1 in the blank areas. It looks very nice and has a very nice add all def boost. This armor is most common around ql 130.
    Thar's
This is great at low levels and you can get a full set pretty easily at the level you can wear it, you can camp for ql 30 peaces around level 14-15. This armor has very solid ac’s, No AC holes to speak of. The price you pay for the nice AC’s is you get no stat bonus from this armor at all, which isn’t at all uncommon among the lower levels where this armor is most popular.

    100-190
    CAS
This armor is great at any level but not to hot for pvp considering its so weak v.s. cold damage and people just love to use cold damage weapons these days. Its pretty much neck and neck with Omni / Storm Carb till level 190
    Omni or Storm Carb
This armor is also pretty good at any level, little cheaper then CAS but has some pretty big AC holes and over all AC is a little lower.
    Tier 1 Keeper Armor
This stuff is nice but has less AC's then cas do to the lack of a helm and doesn’t have the HP / Nano / NCU boost of Omni/Storm carb, still this is extremely popular for armor. Using Tier1+Cas or Omni/Storm Carb usualy gives better AC's then simply using a full set of CAS or Omni/Storm Carb.

    190-220
    Sentinel / Omni AF
Easy to get with even the most pale raid team, requires really only a decent tank, doc and a few damage dealers. Goes faster of course with more people, but this armor is really some of the best in the game, especially if your Omni and you can get your hands on Omni AF tank which is arguably better then HNT and no where near as hard to get.
    Azure
I've only seen a few keepers wearing this, mainly because it takes a very long time to camp a set and requires alot of work to spawn the mercs and a big raid team to take Ian Warr and the other mercs.
    Tier 2
This armor is very nice and 2nd only to bellum armor. Since both take time and teams to get, I still like the chosen overall. So if you want to use Chosen/Faithfull armor, go the tier 2 route.
    Bellum Badonis
The Second top keeper armor I've seen so far, not including the new AI ones.
    Chosen / Faithful Armor
The Keeper Chosen/Faithful armor is the best in-game atm for keepers if AC's are you main concern. Has a few less overall extra bonus then Bellum, but higher AC's across the board.

    Section 2
    -=WEAPONS=-
    Level 1-50
    Guard of the Gentlemen
Great weapon at low levels, nice and fast and great max damage, works well with your first damage buffs.
    Sword of Sir Tristram
Decent weapon at low levels, kind of slow and kind of shoddy max, still better then any other 2he option out side a Guard.
    Ax of Violeta
This is a pretty solid weapon at lower levels. It drops off of faction mobs. This is one of those weapons like the Frost Scythe and Frost-Bound as in it has the same min damage as max. This weapn has brawl, and does significantly less damage at higher levels. However, this is a solid weapon at lower levels.

    Level 50-100
    Stygian Desolator
This will be your best frind from 50-100 (kept mine till 130), it hits hard with decent recharge time, has fast attack which is one of our flag ship skills. Over all the best weapon in this level range.
    Guard of the Gentlemen
Great weapon at low levels, nice and fast and great max damage, works well with your first damage buffs. This weapon does get weaker as you get higher and much more rare as you hit higher levels and require QL 150+ versions, and it really can't compare with Stygian.
    Sword of Sir Tristram
Decent weapon, gets better as you are higher and have more melee init, good min damage as well, still nothing compared to a Stygian.
    Frost Scythe of the Legionnaire
This is a great weapon till about level 80, after level 80-90 you should look for a Long Moon or higher QL Guard / Tristram.
Sacrosanct Sword Staff and Inamorata Naginata
These are pretty much our “assigned” keeper weapons Funcom gave us. They are pretty good weapons and can also be upgraded into Enel (+Brawl),Thar (+Fast Attack), Xum (+Dimach), Enel-Thar(+Braw, +Fast Attack),Enel-Xum(+Brawl, +Dimach). If your looking to do good damage and want to add touch of uniqueness to your keeper then this is the weapon for you. However at lower levels the recharge is some what slow, but If your running a speed tower it should be no problem.

    100-190
    Longsword of the Illuminated
This is the newest edition to our selection of weapons. It’s a very nice replacement for the tangle blade, longmoon and all the other normal weapons people equip around level 100. It really doesn’t have any extremely high level potential because the MBS cap is 1000 and the minimum damage really doesn’t pull its weight in the shadow lands. Over all it’s an excellent weapon to add to your arsenal.
    Long Moon
Great option for 100-161 or so, after 161 you should either go for a Queen Blade or a Frost Bound Reaper, while a Frost bound Reaper only requires level 125 to get, if your going to be able to get it at 125 you most likely don’t need this guide.
    Prickly Tangleblade
Very nice weapon, high damage, high mbs, good crits, has fast attack. The down side is it’s solitus only, and the 125 version is Solitus and Clan only. This is a very odd little weapon that was released as a Dyna Boss drop, it’s highest possible QL is 125 but It looks like a 200. The damage is very comparable to a support beam.
    Queen Blade
The Queen Blade is pretty much a hand-me-down from our friends the Enforcers. While it’s a very slow weapon that’s better suited for a meat ball, it’s much better then a Longmoon. If you are able to get a FBR over this then defiantly go for the FBR. This has a level 161 level requirement.
    Enhanced Queen Blade
This is quite a bit better then its weaker form; however it does have a level 185 requirement. This is what you get when you combine DMM (Diamond-Matrix Mesh) with a normal Queen Blade. Its very nice but also very slow, most people prefer a FBR over this weapon, and a FBR does do better v.s. Shadow Lands mobs because they have massive cold ac holes. However there are alot of keepers who like their EQB’s (Enhanced Queen Blades) but its personally not my preference for a keeper.
Sacrosanct Sword Staff and Inamorata Naginata
At QL 200 these weapons can start to compare to a FBR when upgraded, at ql230+ they really become one of the better options in the game. With keepers having such a powerful line of 2he buffs these are no problem to equip past TL5 even with 1200+ skill requirement. The killer on this weapon is the faction needed and it's speed. Hard to go full D while using it though.
    Frost Bound Reaper
Right now the most popular weapon among 125+ keepers, great damage and works well with our +damage buffs. This is a little tricky to get, if you don’t have any 170+ buddies you might have to wait till 150 - 160 and you can get invited into an IS team and actually pitch in and help.
    Abyssal Desecrator
This is the Stygian Desolator’s big brother and, imo, is a keepers dream sword at low levels. It has a 30% drop off Hezak in the inner sanctum, this will require you to have a very well equipped 190+ raid team or two 170+ raid teams, all with Perm-Keys. If you are able to get one then go for it.
    The Edge of the Tarasque
This sword used to drop off Tarasque in Camelot dungeon, this is also one of the best keeper swords in the game, loots about like a QL 300 Sword of Sir Tristram but only has a 1200 skill requirement as opposed to a 2000 skill requirement. Worth it if it starts dropping again? Defiantly.
    Permafrost
Pretty amazing looking peace of weaponry, any one would be proud to wield this weapon. Great speed, great minimum damage, great maximum damage, decent MBS, probably the best weapon in the game.
    Copy of The Excalibur
This is a great weapon for twinking, if you can get one. Easy to go full Defence and it really likes to tear people up in pvp and RK mobs.

    190+220
    Jobe Defender Naginata
Probably one of the best 2he weapons in the game at this point. Does a solid 300-400 damage with Dimach and Fast Attack. Requirements are steep, but not as steep as say the Greek swords, a QL 250 is around 1400 and a QL300 is around 1800 requirement.
    Exact Copy of The Excalibur
This is a pretty good weapon, but not easy to get with the very poor droprate. Jobe is really a better choice v.s. hecklers, however this really likes to tear people up in pvp and RK mobs.
    Kyr'Ozch Sword - Type 880
Our new Alien weapon with the sword name, but looks like a huge saw. Damage wise though, it's 2nd only to the type 112 sword for best Keeper weapon to date. Does better damage the our last great sword, the Jobe Defender.
    Kyr'Ozch Sword - Type 112
What can be said really. Great low min. damage, great high damage, has fast attack & brawl. Easy to use at full Defence where the Keeper shines to his/her best. Not easy to get, but the best we can get right now for a weapon. Now if it only looked like a sword.

    -=Where do I get this stuff?=-
    -=Weapons=-
If you don’t have dovve map I highly recommend getting it.

    -Stygian Desolator
These are found in the “Temple of the Three Winds”, if your clan just head north of Tir. If you’re Omni-Tek you have to go to Rome Green and talk to ”Windcaller Cerrak”, he is located against the east wall around some red crates, hard to miss. You must pay him 1,000 credits for a pass to enter the blue portal near by.

This portal will take you to the Temple of the Three winds or ToTw. Once your there you want to find the bridge (there is only one) and take a Right, this will take you to the Guardian of Tomorrow, he drops Guardian Tank armor. After you kill the Guardian of Tomorrow you will run into “The Door Keeper” hes very mean, after the door keeper you will see Ulkesh The Frozen, who looks like a mp demon, hes not very hard but after you kill him he transforms in to a character with a cloak (if any one can remember the second forums names plz post it), after you kill him the third time you meet Aztur.

Aztur is VERY hard, he can wipe out several level 50+ teams, to take him you need well regimented team which is not easy to come by around ToTw, (i.e. Doc, Enforcer, damage dealers ect…).

-Guard of the Gentlemen and Sword of Sir Tristram
This weapon can be bough in any of the gardens, in order to enter a garden you must first find an insignia. You get insignia's from killing random monsters in the area, once you’ve found an insignia corresponding to your respective faction and garden, if your Omni Unredeemed, Clan Redeemed, you must find a statue that goes to your respective garden. When in the shadowlands blue dots on your map show garden entrance points for Omni-Tek players and Orange (redish) points show enterance points for Clanners. If you need to go to the garden of Thrak you need an Insignia of Thrak.
    Omni-Tek (Unredeemed) Gardens and Insignias
    -Nascence
    Garden of Thrak
    -Elysium
    Garden of Shere
    -Scheol
    Garden of Roch
    -Adonis
    Garden of Dalia
    -Penumbra
    Garden of Vanva
    -Inferno
    Garden of Lord Mordeth

    Clan (Redeemed) Gardens and Insignias
    -Nascence
    Garden of Aban
    -Elysium
    Garden of Enel
    -Scheol
    Garden of Ocra
    -Adonis
    Garden of Gilthar
    -Penumbra
    Garden of Cama
    -Inferno
    Garden of Lord Galahad

    -Frost Scythe of the Legionnaire
These are found in the “Temple of the Three Winds”, if your clan just head north of Tir. If you’re Omni-Tek you have to go to Rome Blue and talk to an Accultus, you must pay him 1,000 credits for a pass to enter the blue portal near by. This portal will take you to the Temple of the Three winds or ToTw. Once your there you want to find the bridge (there is only one) and take a Left, this will take you down into a dungeon where you will encounter Legionnaries. These guys are kind of hard if you don’t have a team but should be solo able at level 45-50 depending on how many you pull. Legionnaries naturally drop… Frost Scythe of the Legionnaire..

    -Long Moon
These can be store bough or missioned for, depending on your QL just go /tell helpbot mission “insert QL you need here with out peristalsis”. Then you can can either find a fixer who can pull that QL of a mission or if your in that range you can attempt to blitz one for your self, www.Kuren.org is great for blitzing tools.

-Sacrosanct Sword Staff and Inamorata Naginata
These weapons are found off random Redeemed or Unredeemed monsters, they don’t have a great drop rate but if you can get your hands on one you can also upgrade it upgraded into Enel (+Brawl),Thar (+Fast Attack), Xum (+Dimach), Enel-Thar(+Braw, +Fast Attack),Enel-Xum(+Brawl, +Dimach). You need a “Grey Glyph”, these are found off boss mobs in Elysium or higher. Splintered Rafters in Central Elysium have a 100% chance of dropping them. Thanks to Aameul for providing this information.

    -Prickly Tangleblade
These babies are found off Dyna Bosses! If your new to the game Dyna Bosses are “camps” where a certain type of mob spawns. There will be one (or some times two) mobs that stand apart from the crowed, these are the Bosses of the Dyna Came (i.e. Dyna Boss). Sense this weapon only drops up to QL 125 you’ll want to visit level 120-125 Dyna Camps. Most, if not all, Dyna Camps are listed on the latest version of Dovve’s map. Varmint Woods and Central Artery Valley both have an excellent selection. The problem I have with this weapon is it reminds me two much of older games that had almost 100% random drops from bosses ( ::cough Diablo 2 cough cough:: ) . You could find it on your first Dyna Boss kill or you could sit there for 100 years and never find one. If all elese fails you can always find one for about 50m on the market forums.dovve map

    -Queen Blade
This dropps off the mantis queen in smugglers den. Its not as easy to get as people make it out to be, if you have a crat or a calmer it will be alott faster. I recommend a good group of level 150+ players with a calmer and doc to heal tank. The drop rate lately has been pretty bad, you will probably need to kill her 3-4 times before you get one. Smugglers den is located in south foul hills, best fixer grid exit point is 7:L. (seventh floor on the left).

    -Enhanced Queen Blade
This is an upgraded version of the Queen Blade you find in the smugglers den, its pretty straight forward. Get the Queen Blade that dropps in smugglers den and a Diamond-Matrix Mesh that dropps off the Diamondine Soldier.
The Diamondine Soldier who drops the Matrix is located in East Foul Planes at the spot marked “Fort” on dovve map. The Diamondine Soldier requires a pretty hefty tank and two doctors would be great. Tank should be TL6 and you should have a good selection of damage dealers unless you want to be there all day. You can also buy the Diamond Matrix Mesh for about 30-50m.

    -Frost-Bound Reaper
This is located in the Inner Sanctum, quite a bit more difficult then the Temple of the Tree Winds, much more of a traditional uber boss dungeon then the bosses in ToTw. This will require about two teams of 170+ players with a good team that listens and a good puller, adds = death. Iskop the Idolator Jeuru the Defiler both dropp FBR’s with a pretty good rate, 30-50%?

    -Abyssal Desecrator
This is a very hard sword to get but worth it if you have the guild power to do it. It has about a 30% drop rate off Hezak, the third floor boss. In order to get to the third floor you, and your team, will all need perm keys. I recommend not bringing any one uner level 190 on this trip because they will probably bungle things up and will probably die to quickly to be of ay help. This requires an extremely experienced puller, rooters, calmers, MP’s for NSD ect… easy if you have the power and know how, pretty much hell if you dont.

    -Permafrost
This is a very hardest weapon to get but worth it if you have the guild power and time to do it. It has extremely low % drop rate off Hezak, the third floor boss. See Abyssal Desecrator for more information on Hezak.

    -The Edge of the Tarasque
This sword drops off Trsque in Camelot dungeon, this is also one of the best keeper swords in the game, loots about like a QL 300 Sword of Sir Tristram but only has a 1200 skill requirement as opposed to a 2000 skill requirement. Camelot Dungeon is a pvp zone and will require dedication and power, it has only a 1% drop rate, it drops once every 3-5 months in my experience. Worth it if you can get it? Defiantly.

    -Longsword of the Illuminated
This was added with several other weapons that drop off of shadowlands dyna bosses only. Adonis seems to be the best place to camp for these but from what people have reported it is pretty rare like pretty much every decent dyna boss weapon. To bad this is a dyna only drop, god knows this one is going to cost an arm and a leg when they start appearing on the market.

    Section 4
    -=Armor=-
If you don’t have dovve map I highly recommend getting it.

    -CAS
Cas takes quite a while to make and requires quite a fiew trade skills, if your interested in making a set your self there is a comprehensive guide at…
Anarchy Arcanum’s Guide to making CAS

    -Omni and Storm Carb
Pretty easy to make, buy “Sheet of Curved Carbonum Plateing” from the “Armour and Clothing Componets” shop in any general shop, buy the plates corresponding to the QL of carb you need, i.e. for QL 50 carb buy QL 50 Carbomum Plates. Once you have the plates find a trader or engineer to make the armor for you, inorder to clanalize or omnify the armor you need one Clanalizer and Omnifyer for each peace, for a more comprehensive guide check out …
Anarchy Arcanum’s Guide to making Omni and Storm Carb

    -Omni Pol and Flowers Tech
These can be store bough or missioned for, depending on your QL just go /tell helpbot mission “insert QL you need here with out peristalsis”. Then you can can either find a fixer who can pull that QL of a mission or if you’re in the level range you can attempt to blitz (mission for) one for your self, www.Kuren.org is great for blitzing tools.

    -Tier 1 Keeper Armor
Defiantly not the easiest armor to get. You must first obtain a suite of Jobe Armor, Kodiakash wrote a very detailed guild to obtaining jobe armor, KodiakAsh's guide to obtaining jobe armor . Once you have obtained the Jobe Suite you must turn it into the Keeper Spesific Tire 1. Invo wrote a very nice guide so I suggest you check it out if your interested in constructing your own set, be warned it will cost in the 18m range. Invo’s Guide to Tire 1 for Keepers

    -Sentinel / Omni AF
Easy to get with even the most pale raid team, requires really only a decent tank, doc and a few damage dealers. For more detailed information on how to acquire a set go to..Anarchy Arcanum’s Guide to Omni AF armor

    -Azure
If you have to ask you probably cant get it! But any how, it drops off the Mercs in EFP, if your over level 165 and Omni side on RK1 you might want to look into joining Acom, it’s the most organized Raid bot on any dim, its kind of like a guild with out having to join a guild. Also, if you are Clan side on RK2 look into warrnet.

    Section 5

Keepers have no Init. Buffs, how do I raise my Melee Init.?

It is possible to get some very good init. on your keeper, while it might not be quite as easy as stoping by the genral store and picking up a nice +100 melee init buff here and a +240 there, it can be done though the use of equipment.

    -Intelligent Titan Plasteel Shoulderpad
These are some pretty nifty little items. These boost your Melee init. From about 4-21 depending on Quality Level. While most keepers will probably opt for their Quest pads, these could quickly become a keepers best fried considering one of the best keeper weapons, the Frost-bound Reaper, has a -1110 init. Debuff, and keepers have no self init. Buffs. These are boss drop only, but their not to expensive, they go for about 3k per quality level.

    -Journeyman Durable Boost
These are another great way to get your melee init. Up, they boost from about 13 to 15 per booster, you can only wear up to two. While this might seem like a very small boost, when stacked with all the other items they help allot. These are probably the most expensive item on the list, they dropp off professor van horn, one of the most camped mobs in the game. If you want to take a shot at camping some you can find a good amount of information on him here, at Anarchy Arcanum. Other wise your looking at about 10 to 15 mill per boost.

    Guardian Conductor of Speed
This does require a guild with towers to use, but, the good news is it has a very nice melee init. Self buff on even the lowest tower. The owner of the tower will get a +100 melee boos regardless of quality level. So, if your guild has some towers just ask whoever is in charge of your towers and I’m sure they would be able to walk you though it. The tower shop for Omni-Tek players is located around Rome Blue Basic in .. Rome Blue! The clan tower shop is in Old Athen near the whompas to Tir/VW/Bliss. The Neutral tower shop is in Borealis, somewhat near the Jobe whompa. Thanks to Aameul for clan and neuter tower shop info.

    -CAS Symbiotic Armor Sleeves
These are another great way to boost your melee init, at quality level 200 they boost your init. By 15 each (+30 total). Like I said, 15 by it’s self doesn’t sound like much, but once you get to stacking it with all the other items you see here the picture will start to come together. Information on how to make CAS armor is listed in Section 4 "Where to find/ How to make Armor"

    -Ancient Container
This item gives quite a large boost, it actually gives more then Heavy Notum Tank, +50 to be exact. This item also has a nice HP boost on it, very helpful. However, this is one of the more exotic items on the list. This runs for about 25 to 30mill on the forums. If your wanting to get one your self I heard they drop inside Adonis dungeons. I'm not 100% sure on the drop area, if any one would like to post more info that would be great.

    -Keeper Tier 1 sleeves
buff melee init by 20 each at QL160, the both of them combined will buff +40 rather then +30, if you can get your hands on the stuff to make them its 100% worth the troubble. Invo’s Guide to Tire 1 for Keepers

Also, remember you can always implant your melee init stat up by about 210 points with out gimping any of your other stats. If you don’t have Nano Nanny I highly recommend getting it. It may look a tad bit threatening to you at first but as soon as you get the hang of it you will wonder how people every lived with out it.

If you combine all these Items you will come out with about 490 melee init.

    Message

Thanks to Balrogiis for making a great guide and passing it over to my hands. I will now be adding all our cool new stuff with the release of AI when I get a chance. I hope to keep this guide going for all the new and upcoming Keepers that can use it.

I know all is writen in the guide be i dont quite understand all, If i have to make the armor like the CAS, which profession is the one that makes armors?
And if you know some good and ppl that dont take to much for making a CAS, can i have thier names plz?
On my keeper right now i only have 1400 MeleeAC that to little i think :-/ hecks can easy kill me if i dont get any heals....

I really would have appricated some help

I would like to add that carbonium armour adds to your nano pool and gives extra ncu space. Omni carbonium adds extra hitpoints on top of what you get from plain carbonium.

All of these are very usefull for keepers.

It's my favourite armour below level 100 and probably going to be my favourite armour for a lot of levels above 100 as well.

I like that you put forth the effort but it's seriously lacking =p. First off, T2/T3 wasn't even included , or the bellum, or beast items , But in the weapons section, if I see anyone using excaliburs in SL.. I mean cmon.. do people really pay attention to the dmg their doing? If they do they won't use excals. All I'm saying is.. it was nice and big but nowhere near through for the 200+ part =p. keep it up though

    Section 1: Armor
    - Lenaic's post above mentions t2, 3 bellum, beast etc
    - Molybendum Armor is also pretty good (from Biodome in BL) Need large raidforce for it.

    Section 2: Weapons
    - Edge of Tarasque does _not_ drop. At least it has not since SL was released.
    - Exact Copy of Excalibur: Nice pvp weapon, rk weapon and sl weapon ely and below. Alot of pvp twink keepers get this on (ql 240) at 130ish, so doable for someone still there. Drops from Tuq'usq in Inferno (Dragon boss lvl 215, 2% or so drop rate). Need money or friends/alts to get it for you at that point though.

    Section 5: Init
    - Ceremonial Watchman's Hood (comes from IS second floor from hacking Small Obsidian Jar. Leveling item, but requires sense to beware to us troxes

Lots of alien stuff too but you said you are gonna get to that.

Updated guide with more armor choices. This is a work in progress for me and I might not be as fast as Bal, but I'm getting there.

Keep up the great info for me to add.

Costs closer to 10m now, and drops off the omega in the adonis redeemed/unredeemed temples. Omega almost always drops 2

Other than that (and already corrected items) - nice work! My new keeper may well find this useful

I wonder how early it's possible to twink a Tier 3 back item on. It's only 800-odd stamina, soo... 160ish?

    Hmm..

    -The Edge of the Tarasque
This sword drops off Trsque in Camelot dungeon, this is also one of the best keeper swords in the game
Not only does it not drop, but it sucks. For looks only.

(CAS here)This armor is great at any level but not to hot for pvp considering its so weak v.s. cold damage and people just love to use cold damage weapons these days
Unless you're fighting a gelid user, Cold AC is generally not a big deal. FBR is useless in pvp, nobody uses it there..

(Carbonum/Omni Carbonum)This armor is also pretty good at any level, little cheaper then CAS but has some pretty big AC holes and over all AC is a little lower
Sorry, but 200 carb's HP, NP, init and NCU adds far outstrip the simple max HP on cas. Sure there's a few lower ACs, but CAS is a good bit harder to get..there's hardly a better low and mid level armor than Carb.

(Permafrost)Pretty amazing looking peace of weaponry, any one would be proud to wield this weapon. Great speed, great minimum damage, great maximum damage, decent MBS, probably the best weapon in the game.
It's good, but rare, and FBR is better on most anything in SL because of the 100+ higher min.

AD is nowhere near as good for its level and difficulty to acquire as the Stygian. FBR is much easier to get (MUCH easier) and a lot better. You dont have to have a perm key to get FBR off the second floor, and I sure as heck don't know many 2he users without one of these by say, 140.

Aztur is VERY hard, he can wipe out several level 50+ teams, to take him you need well regimented team which is not easy to come by around ToTw, (i.e. Doc, Enforcer, damage dealers ect…).
Aztur's easy. The hard part is Uklesh with his stuns, but a team of 50+ with a doc or 2, or a doc/support healing can do it without much trouble. Also can be easily done as a 55+ engineer with the right trimmer and bot.

Drops off the adonis empath. Piece of cake for most any 200+, and doable with a much lower team.

a FBR does do better v.s. Shadow Lands mobs because they have massive cold ac holes.
Uhh, I think perhaps you might be under a rock my friend. FBR will do significantly less damage/hit than the EQB, as cold damage hits for minimum in Adonis and up(just ask me, my gelids tell the sad sorry tale). The EQB also will NOT hit for minimum, as it does Chemical damage, the REAL heckler ac hole. Problem is, the EQB's so bloody slow and there's no rage a la enforcer to counteract this. I'd say EQB is best left to the Enf's and people who wear it for looks.

    Edit: Damage dumps.

    Enhanced Queen Blade
    Estimated Damage Range: 2319-4088 (4328)

In 60s with a cycle speed of 5.7s, (2.08s Attack, 3.62s Recharge) you would have attacked 11 times. Total damage in 60s would be around 37466 points.

Special attack damage in 60s would be around 1520 points, bringing total damage to around 38986 points.

Your average normal hit would be around 3204 points.
Brawls in 60s would be approx. 4 @ 15s, adding around 380 points each for 1520 points total.

Results were calculated at 0.82 times normal and 0.18 times critical damage.
ACs reduced your average damage by around 500 points per hit.

    Frost-bound Reaper
    Estimated Damage Range: 1474-1474 (1474)

In 60s with a cycle speed of 2s, (1s Attack, 1s Recharge) you would have attacked 30 times. Total damage in 60s would be around 44220 points.

Your average normal hit would be around 1474 points.

Results were calculated at 0.82 times normal and 0.18 times critical damage.
ACs reduced your average damage by around 0 points per hit.

EQB does considerable more per chop because of the higher min/max and lower chem ac on hecklers, but FBR has the speed advantage by a good bit. FBR is better, but does less per hit, faster.

There was a nice description of how to get most of the other armors but I was wondering where I can get my hands on a set of Infantry armor? Still new so I'm having trouble getting enough money for everything. Armor that I can kill stuff for would be preferable to buying armor. I'm at lvl 80 at the moment.

  18. #18
to get high enough QL infantry armor at lvl80, I'd say you'd have to kill Redeemed (unredeemed?) mobs in Ely, or even worse Scheol... though Ely should do.
you'll have to camp alot though, and it will be a pain, since the mobs are still green to ya..

I have ql 242 excalibur, and i solo up to 5 hecklers in ely with it on 185ish lvl at the same time,i am solitus.
It starts sucking at sheol hecks and above;it also rawks on all normal mobs, cept catacomb mobs in penumbra and all mobs in inferno.
