    Keeper Wishes and concerns List

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1. Keeper weapons
Well, we have a new weapon now, but it looks like a piece of broken clockwork. The majority of keepers are deeply commited to the almost roleplay sense of being the knight in armour (with our sparta style chosen/faithfull to match) and desperately want to have a true sword as their primary weapon. Many keepers have expressed bringing the damage of the greek swords in line with some of the more steady weapons (alien 2he, fbr) as a possible solution of a match between appropriate looks and practicality. Suffice to say that the weapon would need to have fast attack, dimach, parry and riposte at least. Excalibur style non special weapons would be very unpopular. The feeling among the community seems to be that the weapon helps define the keeper spirit and morale and as such would preferably be profession locked to keeper.

    2. AoR scaling
Currently the AoR perk scales very poorly at 110-200, it goes from a very nice neaing to almost usless in the late tl5, and picks up again when you can train lvl 9 at lvl 200, to being virtually useless again at top levels of 215+. A general boost to it's healing power would be very much appreciated, possibly adding some effects (example, small evade or DMS boost every other level) No specials make it seem an incredibly weak perkline for the 10 points one is required to invest in it eventually.

    3. Parry/Riposte
Yup, top of almost everyone's list is that parry and riposte are introduced once again into the game. These are core skills comprising of many of our items buffs (even the keeper star from the beast), a full 10 point perkline, and even a nanoline. With these abilities being removed from the game (but not from the requirements for many items, including weapons) it feels like we are incomplete and being asked to spend IP for no reason. If the introduction of both would be overpowering, perhaps simply enabling parry without riposte would be a fair compromise while things are tweaked and adjusted to not be unfair. The other concern is of course regarding pvp, where a low level melee player could potentially have no chance of ever hitting a high level keeper. Perhaps it could be readded simply for PvM in the meantime, at least to give some of the strength to keepers that we feel we are missing.

    4. Fury
Also mentioned in the buglist, there is a scaling issue with at least the omni version of fury. However, both versions do suffer from a very poor damage output. For one of the defining skills of a keeper, this is incredibly low. The previous requests mentioned that for a 30ncu buff it should have a 1-3k damage output with a small stun chance (similiar to brawl). Neutral keepers have mentioned that they would like a version of fury as well (assuming it's been scaled correctly!).

    5. Unique items
Unique keeper items. Several suggestions for specific keeper unique items have already made it into this list, but special mention should go to a more general request for additional profession content. As it stands, enforcers still have an absolute plethora of items designed specifically for them, understandable for one of the old professions, but some of these are strange in their lack of change (specifically the katana weapons available from the NPC smith). Keepers would like to see a great deal more content solely for us, to really help personalise the characters we love so much.

    6. Ambient line
The pulses don't scale as the ql of the nano goes up. Not really sure why this is, it seems natural that the power would increase, and the frequency of heal would increase (in line with our "tone of" auras) as they level of the nanoprogram raises. Faster pulses, would make it more viable at mid lvl, where it sufferes from the same as AoR, beeing rather insufficient.

    7. Dimach
We have no idea why dimach has such a slow recharge on it. The heal is less than curing touch which we have access to every 2 minutes, and everyone else seems to have a scaling built into dimach based on time diminishing as skill increases. We request that dimach recharge for keepers be drastically reduced to the min cap of say 5 minutes at top skill levels. This would make it actually useful to us rather than something which is generally forgotten due to the 1 hour minimum cap. With parry and riposte not enabled, we are missing a huge element of our defence, and this would make up in a small way by giving us access to an additional, but not overpowering heal.

    8. Nano requirement
Again this is harshes for the mid lvls, while still using implants the req's on nanos are very hard to reach. This seems to be because the keeper nano requirements are scaled only for shadowlands, whereas many other professions still retain their pre-sl scaling on nanos. Seems just a little too much.

    9 Buckler/Parry dagger
Something that was mentioned and seems to have been semi implemented (Snake Tamer Shield) is that many keepers would like to be able to wield either a wrist buckler (would be equipped in left hand but visually would be attached to wrist) with some small bonuses. Perhaps a parry/multimelee requirement to wield. Could add some addalldef, hp, nanoskills or random other bonus and have no other effect. Or a parry dagger which could perhaps mix a minor boost of defence, with a minor boost of damage. This is very much a roleplay style issue and strongly in keeping with the profession's entire philosophy. It could make for some interesting choices as to what style of keeper is played.. defensive or offensive and help to give us the unique look that we all so crave.

    10. Morph
A little idea in the community is that it would be fun with a type of keeper Morph. Could just use the current Shadowbreed mechanics but other looks and effects. Short time morph with a cooldown of a few mins. One that adds to offencive with range/dmg/all off and one defencive with HP/all off/extra hot. Would make the keeper a bit more unique atleast
