What is Shattered dreams?
Shattered dreams is a well established neutral role-playing organisation on Rimor.
We seek mediation and diplomacy with all sides, and strive for peace to the best of our ability.
What are you interested in?
We are a peaceful and diplomatic RP guild and primarily SD is interested in enjoying our time here on Rubi-Ka. We are mature and helpful and suffer from bouts of chattiness that may, on occasion, be amusing. We prefer to work as org teams to help players, not just hand things to them on a plate e.g. staging regular alien attacks and helping with teaming, quests and advice.
Do you PVP?
We do not make unprovoked attacks on others and do not generally take part in tower wars. We defend ourselves and our land (we do own towers), but we do not counter attack as it is counter productive to peaceful resolution.
Pvp therefore is only allowed if mutually accepted and fair e.g. an arranged fair dual. Obviously, no ganking, cheating, exploiting or we set the leets on you. Then probably /org kick you. Then set MORE leets on you....
If you can’t do it fairly, then don’t do it.
(We have an AI notum silo and on occasion beat each other up)
Do you raid, or is it all chatting?
We regularly do alien raids, help members with teams and quests, do PB hunts and generally do all the fun AO stuff. Org teams are encouraged but people will be allowed to do their own things in their own time.
What do I need to join?
1) A strong interest in roleplaying. Shattered Dreams is a role-playing guild, and as such guild chat can be in and out of character depending on the situation. Vicinity chat is always considered IC.
2) We are trying to improve our screening process to better reflect the RP nature of the org so ALL applicants have to submit a character sheet, outlining character history/backstory. This should include character name, profession, family history and major events in the characters life.
3) You have to be neutral! We do not PVP as a rule (except in the silo) so dont get any tower-attacking ideas. (We have an org bot, so sided/non-guild alts can still chat to the org.)
4) A sense of humour, but bear in mind language in Guild chat is family-friendly. Any swearing/innapropriate behaviours or harassment will be clamped down on so hard your ears will ring.
5) Fairness and friendship: The guild is your family, and as such all members have a responsibility toward one another. Be that in the form of sharing old gear, helping people learn the ropes of a profession, or giving advice.
