PvP weapon

When killing dynas today looking for an arbalest I found a Senior Eye Wind Onehander. It looks like AS will cap out somewhere above 1.2k skill, so what I'm wondering, is that weapon any useful for pvp at all or do i have to continue the quest for an arbalest?
I'm trying to find a weapon that is fairly easy to selfequip at my level (194) and will still perform ok in pvp. I don't want to run around looking for a wrangle every time something happens and I need to put away my pbeamer.

Both the Onehander and Arbalest perform nicely in PvP, just a matter of playstyle. If you don't like swapping weapons constantly to perk and whatnot, Machine Pistol and Onehander works wonders.

If you like to rely less on crit for a nice AS, and don't mind hotswapping to other weapons, then the Union Arbalest would be for you.

Yeah, onehander is more luck's game than arbalest.

a) it either performs great or

b) it just sucks.

But like Xyb mentioned, you dont need to swap your gun if your using onehander ( if your dual wielding that is ).

Nah... I rate fixers decent to good, depending on the skills of the player.

+ how much you've gimped yourself in PvM in order to raise **** like full auto :P

Fixers can be surprisingly good.

Like said before me, it depends on the player behind the fixer.

And, not gimped in PvM in favor for PvP

I mean fixer must think about PvP (use nonprof skills, use some uber staff etc). But MA can only rise MA and AS skill and be uber in PvP. Thats why fixers suxx, but if u got pvpskill and some staff u can be good, but its not easy =)

fixer sux at 1 vs 1 in arena.

but 1 vs 1 on open field its a different matter, although imo it still isnt average. But as soon as it is 10 vs 10 or more (whompa wars, mass pvp) fixer can be great in pvp.

Nearly every other profession is like this, atm. For the most part, relying on "another profs skills" is what most have to do nowadays, as since the special nerf hit, it's been an AS war (again).

Always a workaround to win anywhere, you just need luck and a bit of thinking. While some professions will flat out murder us (good NT's and Agents), we still have a chance to win, no matter the environment.

Arena PvP, there is usually an object that disrupts the foes LoS. Root your opponent, sit behind the statue so they are unable to fire/nuke you, and pop out everytime your key special comes up, then retreat behind it. Also, use of nukes and running around helps in 1v1 Arena battles. ;P May not sound "honorable", but who cares? It's Anarchy Online. ;]

We are an evil scourge in mass PvP, running around like crazy and rooting anything that moves is great fun
Unlike SL PvM though standing still = death (except if you duel something gimpy like crats, but hey you could go afk then ) We have a nice bunch of PvP perks like SD acrobat and def stance.

We are nowhere near the BEST PvP profession, but that doesn't mean we suck.

Those god damn NTs ;p

Really tough... I tried for like 10 minutes to take down 1 level 213 NT at a tower war, i tried again and again, but NS saved him every time. ;P

They are manageable though.... if you alpha them. I got rookie off one.
