How to make PvP videos (easy mode):
Software used:
FRAPS - Can be bought from http://www.fraps.com/ for 37$.
Windows Movie Maker - Comes with Windows XP.
Only things needed for making a movie, can use other software too, like Adobe Premiere.
Setting up Fraps:
General: Mark all.
FPS: Got nothing marked here, and turned Overlay Corner to Disabled.
Movies: Select folder you want your movies in. Your hotkey (I use numpad*). Full-size, and turn Record Sound off.
Screenshots: Whatever you desire.
You use * on numpad to start/stop recording, if your unsure if you are recording, press ctrl+alt+f to see your FPS, it will drop alot if you are recording.
Remember your Anarchy Online client has to be in Fullscreen in order to start recording.
Using Windows Movie Maker:
Turn on Tasks. Choose Import Video, and select the movie you want to edit.
Movie maker will now cut your movie into smaller scenes, you select which scenes you want in your movie by dragging and dropping it into the Storyline or Timeline window on the bottom of the screen.
You can shorten theese even more by selecting the beginning or the end of the clip and moving it. (or something)
Might want some sound/music to add to your movie, just drag&drop your favourite mp3's or similar into moviemaker and do same as with the video(except movie maker wont make it smaller).
Now you've played around some and figured you want to add your text taunts.
Simply choose Make titles or credits under 2. Edit and play with it.
After you are sattiesfied with your movie, choose Save to my computer under 3. Finish movie.
After choosing name and folder for where to save it, go to Next and choose Other settings: High quality video (large) which is sufficent for AO PvP movies.
There you go, grab a warm cup of coffee and wait for it to finish.
