Vegetarian Leet

How can I open a trade with the vegetarian leet and have a shot at swapping a token board? I tried yesterday after a HI raid and couldn't get close enough, even when he strayed to the edge of the water. And he also despawns before the eremites do.

Any tips?

I tried this before and died while in trade with him. The token board was gone and fc wouldnt replace it. Better off to do a WTT on forums.

Take a friend, jump from Jobe (plazza) in parrot form or with yalm equiped. Your friend pull all eremites at the other side of the beach, then you trade quickly the token board with the leet.

I've done this a couple times successfully (and admittedly many times unsuccessfully) and this is how I find it best...

ideally, get an enforcer to coon and mongo adds to the far corner... nice, but not necessary.

generally, i log my advy and jump from plaza in parrot... i hover way high above everything and position myself directly above a veggie leet... at this point i drop parrot and toss up acrobat and coon (yes both, as there are so many hitting at once and some will hit through acrobat) and do the trade.

the biggest thing to remember is that you dont have to follow dialog. Just open chat and then click the 'give items...' button and hand it over... only takes a couple seconds total time if you don't do the chatting.

I used to do it by going parrot just after looting the boards and flying up. Then I'd find the leet, target him, and fly down spamming e until the NPC chat opened. I'd get agg from the ermites, but I was still too high in the air for them to hit me. I have no clue if it's still possible.

It's easy. Kill ALL the eremites including Brood Mother BEFORE you kill the weed. ALL the eremites. When the HI raidforce I was on did that there wasn't even the massive eremite spawn that usually happens. Could've been a bug, or it could've been that killing all the adds first before weed is the thing to do.

Is that to say that all those 250+ eremites spawn when the weed dies and potentially you could kill the broodmother and the suzeiran before the weed, without the adds, if you're patient?

Never tried before, but interesting to know...
