Resolved for 17.8.1
The following issues should be resolved in the following 17.8.1 version
- Client / Server Sync issues - Some objects require you to be really close to an object in order to interact with it (i.e.: looting, opening doors and shop terminals) / warping and mobs possibly agroing because the server thinks you are closer than you are.
- Miir Male Underwear Strong Corset - Equipping this item and logging out and will produce a crash loop. Please do not equip this item.
- Dueling Markers - Dueling markers are not disappearing after the duel.
- Detonate Stoneworks - Detonate Stoneworks was requiring the target to be rooted by Encase in Stone instead of yourself.
- Dueling - Dueling someone with reflects can cause rare cases where you can die after the duel.
- Social - Please don't equip items with the social flag in the social window. Zoning will resolve the issue with being unable to equip items after that.
- New Dust Brigade Quest instance - Not getting warped out of the new instance playfield.
- Mimic NCU Cost - Needing 100 NCU to cast but not using any of the 100 when it's active.
Clarifications
- Reports of changes to mobs - Nothing has changed with mob abilities. General sync improvements (not discounting above mentioned issues with sync for players which is being resolved in 17.8.1) should have improved general communication of actions and range, so in some circumstances mobs may perform better as they more reliably know where you are now due to the improvements in client / server communication.
- Mobs will now return to their spawn point if pulled extreme distances. This is an intentional change. We also now have the ability for future updates to have mobs return to their spawn point once past a distance we dictate (which will most likely be used for future content updates to ensure people can't pull mobs to places they shouldn't and will allow us to make better Rubi-Ka based content in future)
Being looked into
- Pets not disappearing on Battlestation - this is being investigated
- Visual effect of Implode ability firing on self rather then target - Will be looked into.
- Possible issue with MA attacks - Will be looked into.
Unconfirmed / Unable to reproduce
- Single report of prices from vendors not being correct after update, unable to reproduce this issue
