I installed AO as explained in the completely unsupported HowTo with no problems. Played for some time now on this system without any trouble but now I can't patch it:
-An unsupported operation was attempted
-An invalid argument was encountered

Wine 1.1.32
no custom stuff here and yes i got ie4linux. The original installation and the last few patches were no problem : (
wondering if it's the wine version causing the problems. Anyone else using 1.1.32 here and managed to patch?
okay, looks like updating wine messed up ie4linux and thats why patching didn't work.
redid the whole installation of ie4linux and ao and that solved it
