(Another) 200 PvP MA thread

After reading the past 2-3 years of this board, and with my own notes on tl5 MAs, I've come up with the following for a 200 MA:

My knowledge of endgame encounters, and all the various items associated, is my weakest area. If anybody has any good suggestions or criticisms, I want to hear them.

My personal idea of an MA is "kill them before they can kill you."

As a lvl200, you will not be able to equip those symbs, or those LoX mems, or the Belt (as the infuser drops in LoX which is locked to 201+), or the final part to upgrade to a signet ring.

You can do ql240 symbs tops, probably a ql280 left-hand, and upgrade that ql180 support brain.

The lowbie inf brain is needed for Alb arrows sadly.

Looks like a good setup man. Maybe ql 260ish Martial Arts Skill NCU (6/6)x2 over the +dmg ones if you have the money.

just an opinion, but I'd get rid of the Larvea all together, and go with Cross Dimensional Gyro of Gemini in that spot, OR throw out the alien aug defensive, move the star to hud1, and add Cross Dimensional Gyro of Gemini where the star was. OR Move star to HUD1, get rid of Larvea and AADef device, and add both, Aquarius's Multitask Calculator, and Cross Dimensional Gyro of Gemini.

that NCU could def be more functional as well:

Sagittarius's Hearty Spirit Helper
etc..

imo that +10 dmg you get from 2 dmg mems don't nearly compensate for the NCU+NR+other mods that you lose. I'd also add an Active/Passive Viral CPU Upgrade to help offset the loss of Larvea. in the end with some changes and a bit of farmzor, it's a much better setup.

*note - I don't play MA and never have just stating what's obvious to me. hope was some help.

As my personal note to this. I would choose lower CC/ofab pieces of armor - swapable to other items needed for specific duels. Such as ofab chest (evades), ofab sleeves (dodge), ado pants (nr/dodge). In that case you would need to make some perks changes for AI3 tech - in my opinion its very versatille and worthy + you could use cc helm for additional AR, also get CC pants for little bit more def vs enfs. As far as I remember you from tl5 you will duel a lot so this would be an option. Also get reanimated cloaks (5/5) - guardian and jester (cool AR swaps + defence auras for few seconds before the duel starts) Ive got more ideas.

That could be only me but I tend to swap on my toons a lot. I even swap armors a lot on my 170 advy - what is ... not really common.

3 perks into ATE doesn't sound bad, considering I have 3 AI perks I've been tossing around everywhere. Lower CC everywhere isn't a bad idea, especially considering the price of 300 CC. However, I could probably only swap ql200 ofab on.

Once I get the feel for 200 I'll probably pin down setups for different situations. Thanks for the help, and it's nice to be back

Hmm, Is it possible to have a SoFC for swapping instead of PE? It have got a real fast equip time, which is really handy!

I don't think you can get 1500 dimach. And there is no reason to use a rhand symb over a imp with more MA and AS. And Mystical Hood > Sureshot.

Generally i would make sure first that you can use the new ma attacks and maybe ice arrows(assuming you can use it already cause of inf brain?) before thinking about SA. 2s swap time is long for a unreliable 40s special i'd rather hope for a crit or two and evade profs are not really the big problem at this lvl.

1.5k dimach should be doable on MA, as they have better perk support for it than keepers, who can too (barely) reach 1.5k at level 200. If I'm not overlooking some dimach-adding gear only keepers have access to.
The difference of naked MA and keeper, with max research and relevant perks is a bit over 100 points in favor of MA.

Yes, this setup can use ice arrows, and the RHand symb does Bow Spc Atk, which is needed.

Having 1718 MA, I'd be able to use Enigma and Inner Balance with moonmist. With only 1313 dimach and 1141 parry, Sappo and Delirium are out of reach.
