that Organisations in AO are very much a social affair.

of course you have the advantage of hand me downs and being taken under the wing of someone more experienced but compared to other games it more or less boils down to:

do you like being around them?

because of that i think it is more reasonable and leads to more enjoyment for both parties if you ask people whom you have grouped with and like to team with about their clan.

also you might wish to browse the people of rubi ka clan section to see wether the roster of the clan includes people in your level range. also consider wether they have a website (clans that do are generally more active) and what time zone they play in.
