    4. Thank you for a working CharacterParser. Although, it doesn't seem to parse Touch of the Gripper or special implants like that.

    Problems:
    1. If you start it up after you've added the items db, icon extract etc... did the initial startup, closed and reopened... go to shade and it'll do "updating symbiants list", then go to any other profession after it finishes and it will always do "updating symbiants list"

    2. When removing buffs, it removes them to the current profession list and they stay there until you restart AOSkills [It fixes if you reload the save]


    Other:
    1. I assume that if we want to add buffs we put it in the "buffs_to_add" right?

    4. I'll look into that, are you able to upload the bin files for an affected character somewhere (dropbox etc?)

    Problems
    1. It'll do that when you change prof, load a new char etc, as it has to reload relevant items each time. I may see if I can add a cache table for that too though or otherwise speed it up.

    Best I got is mediafire... dropbox doesn't like me, it never worked for me.

    Those are the files directly from aoia and if you parse them, it'll not parse Touch of the Gripper for both and Keeper's Vitality for the other.

    A small update here, and I'll look into why CP isn't seeing those items.

    Also, even though it got fixed in the one before this, there was a bug concerning abilities that was weird... as I said it's fixed now but so crazy.
    You'd put the gaunt buff onto your character, it'd show +10 from buffs... then you'd add comp attributes and it'd show +12, then add something like Behe and it'd be +27 .. they wouldn't stack, but that was fixed on your fix before this one

    Problems with this current build:

    Start up AOSkills... go to Buffs, add in Neuronal Stimulator (or NS for short).
    Save it as "testing".
    Now open "testing" .... it will have x6 your NS as buffs.

    If you add all 3 prof's NS, it will then x6 each NS... so +414 Int/Psy at the end and the buffs window is pretty funny to look at. http://i.imgur.com/anbFEqP.png

    And also, I can't add buffs into aoskills. I asked before if I could put stuff into "buffs_to_add" and it does nothing.
    I'm trying to add "Extruder Nutrition Bar" AOID 252028, it never shows up in the buffs window, even after buff cache refresh

    Edit:
    Any buff from misc that is claimed as an item (like the boosters) are removed after each reload

    The buff cache is only loaded at startup, so after a refresh, you need to reload the program, but if it's not appearing, I'll take a look.

    And I'll see what is up with NS and the rest!

    Added a check so that it will only add the first instance of a multi-prof nano from the buff list (this is not perfect, but works round the issue for now).
    Ideally I'll need to record the profession along with the buff in the save file, but will need to figure out the best way to do so without breaking existing saves.
    Note, you can still add multiple copies of the same buff from different profs, and I'll look to prevent that at a later date.

    I note the XML line you posted is malformed, it has an extra ">" after the initial "<AOID", make sure it is "<AOID NAME="Extruder Nutrition Bar">252028</AOID>".
    However, whilst that may be an issue, it seems that this item is not loading as a buff.
    I've changed the way that routine works slightly, with the benefit that I can now add the city tradeskill machine to this list too rather than having it hard-coded.
    (And I've added the Extruder Bar to the shipped list too!)
    (Note, you'll want to keep a backup of your copies of these xml files if you edit them as a new update will overwrite any changes and you'll need to re-merge).

    And fixed the issue with certain buffs not reloading (the one function I'd forgotten to deal with single quotes in names in!)

    2. I realized after I posted it, that I retyped it wrong onto here. I had it as you have it here
    3. Thank you for fixing the reloading issue and I am finally able to add buffs!

    If anyone doesn't know how to add buffs:
    First, go to "buffs_to_add" and open in a text editor (I use notepad++, but notepad is fine too)
    Second, find the buff in auno or aoitems, you need the item ID and its full name
    Third, type in <AOID NAME="name">######</AOID> you need the quotes around the name and the full number, make sure to save after that
    Fourth, open AOSkills and reset the buff cache, then close it and reopen. The buff will be there

    It allowed me to add LMN +1 int buff yay

    I DLed from latest link, copied my AOIA db file, did ExtractIcons all fine. Ran AOSkills, got an error about buffs_to_move.xml but it seemed to sort out the rest eventually. I logged in a character, zoned to update the AOIA binfiles, pointed Character Parser at it - all good.

    However, when I now run AOSkills.exe the window flashes up for a brief moment before collapsing to a minimised empty window in the top left. No error messages or popups or anything. What've I overlooked?! (Win7 64bit, running as admin, install on a seperate HDD)

    Did you copy over the x64 or x86 file from those folders?
    The SQLite.Interop.dll file, just put it in the main folder... else it won't do its job

    yeah, with a 64 bit machine, don't try the 86 one.


    With your problem, the only fix I could have assumed was you forgot the x64 dll. Did you put the dll in before or after the first run?

    Would have been after the first run when I got the buff_to_move.xml error before ExtractIcons. Maybe just reinstalling and movign the .dll first might work.

    Just want to clarify the issue...

    You re-extracted it, put in the aoitems.db, ran the ExtractIcons and put the x64 SQLite.Interop.dll into the main folder
    You ran the AOSkills.exe once, the 'buffs_to_move' error will always happen on the first run.
    It will build the implant database and then will start pretty much in the top left corner in the smallest possible window
    You'll have to resize the window and move it elsewhere on your desktop and then close it
    When you re-open it, it'll be just like step 3? Where it's a tiny window

    What version of AOIA are you using?

    Just seeing if it's possible to reproduce, since I know Darkbane is trying hard with this ^^ and this latest build was amazing
    I DL'd 1.1.6.2 AOIA+, used its DB and did all the steps, I got nothing wrong
    Whether I used 'run as admin' or just run as usual, still popped up in corner on first run then was fine after

    You said you put on an external HDD? Was that drive just a normal hdd or was it one of those portable things?
    Try putting it on your HDD and seeing what happens?
