    Team Tag Rules

Hello, sorry for posting this here but our guild webpage provider has closed down. In any case, you can try this yourselves too.

    Location and Time: TBA

Team Tag: This is a simple variation of a stupid game of tag we started playing when camping the Mantis Queen for hours on end. Should be some fun and doesn't involved getting anyone killed.

Basic Idea: There are two teams involved, one predator team, one prey team, each with 5-6 members. The goal is for the predator team to 'tag' every member of the prey team in as short a time as possible. Teams then reverse roles and repeat to see which team gets the better time. The predator team consists of 2 rooters and 3-4 runners (anyone). The prey team can be anyone.

*Note: Rooting classes can participate as runners, they just can't root unless so designated.

    Basic Rules/Guidelines:

    1. Each team starts on separate ends of the designated area.

    2. Everyone except for the rooters will be provided with run buffs.

    3. Prey team is allowed any means to break roots and/or increase their run speed.

    4. In order to 'tag' a member of the prey team you simply need to open a trade window with them.

    5. Once tagged, the prey team member must sit down and the predator team must announce the tag using shout.

    6. No players can leave the designated area.

    7. Spectators should hover above the area in yalms or remove themselves from the area if not spectating.

    8. Each team will have a designated color and matching cloaks.

    9. A designated referee will announce the start of play and the end, plus keep the times for each round (multiple refs if needed).

    10. No area rooting/snaring.

I'll let everyone know when/where we will try this out.

*Warning: Please turn off auto-attack in Options->Miscellaneous before participating.

Sounds like fun. How big should the designated area be?
